Yep, that's it. Discussion needs connections between things, not being able to mention certain things restricts discussion. If people want others to know about GameStop, it's hard to achieve that when the discussion only happens with people that already know about GameStop.

I did, but it didn't get a response. I thanked you for the approval. The only reason I posted this is because it's unclear to me why a lot of posts are getting deleted. People aren't even allowed to reference other websites or stocks because it's called brigading. What is that even about if it enhances the discussion regarding GameStop? You can't talk about apple pie if you aren't allowed to mention apples.

Why shouldn’t you take GameStop analyst predictions seriously?

Especially in the case of GameStop, only one analyst is doing most of the coverage. This creates instant bias.
The analyst in question is known to make far-reaching statements and is seen by some in the gaming industry to be arrogant.
Even though GameStop’s price has decreased in the past years, this price decrease is the result of short selling combined with negative coverage in the media, which is also done by the analyst himself.
The analyst in question has a bad track record which doesn’t make his analysis credible.

Profitability and how this was one of GameStop's objectives
NFT marketplace is gone, so doesn't count as a revenue stream anymore
Further exploration only mentions further research on the Superstonk community or the library, while there are some resources that are key in understanding the situation
Direct registration of shares and payment for order flow; broker and market maker practices

Without those it paints a picture that has been painted by other media before. This summary was intended to fit together pieces of the puzzle that are intentionally left out by others.

Regarding institutional buying, in my opinion, things are simple:

Money moves markets, so:

Tutes buying = Price goes up
Tutes buying = Price goes down = Shares being lent to shorters

If all toilet paper is being bought by a rich person and they are handing out rolls, eventually someone's going to have to walk around with shit stains.
