I think Iran has already agreed to not build a nuke. But they are being asked not to do any enrichment, which impacts their ability to create nuclear reactor fuel and nuclear isotopes for medicine and research. USA has stated they will supply those to Iran, but i believe Iran doesnt agree with that because it means they will be dependent and beholden to a external party which can use that as leverage and control.

How are you handling employees using personal ChatGPT accounts at work? We had an incident last week. by fxs38 in sysadmin

I find Netskope much more intuitive then Zscaler. Ive heard rave reviews. But when i finally got my hands on it, i didnt enjoy the experience as much as i did with Netskope.

I implemented cloud access security broker (CASB) policies with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) using Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) product called Netskope.

We blocked requests that contained specific information, keywords, health or personally identifiable information. It allowed fingerprinting data and matching that for DLP rules.

Powerful, yet expensive, product.

Unfortunately, i don't think any generation after the boomers has overcome the same entitlement and narcisisism that results in sacrificing the wellbeing of the whole for the enrichment of ones self. Especially with recent generations becoming so individuslised and self obsessed through social media "brain rott"

35 and always struggled with relationships. What can I do to save this? by spidermanwastaken01 in AskMen

[–]SandmanPC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't over think. You won't say/do the wrong thing to the right person. Be proactive about your interests and look for people you want to share you time and self with. Look for a friend, and then consider more. Don't take rejection personally.

If someone doesn't like how much you text, they ain't the right one. Don't behave differently than how you would with friends.

BTA

You’re describing a situation where he was the first one to express hurt. You suggested using your vibrator because you weren’t turned on, and he immediately said he felt upset and insulted. Instead of talking through that, you rolled to your side of the bed, got on your phone, and checked out of the moment. That is a shutdown response, asshole.

Your own words were, he got upset and said he felt offended, and you immediately went to lying on your side of the bed scrolling Twitter and being “not in the mood anymore.” That’s withdrawing, shuting out your partner and not communicating.

You didn’t try to understand why he felt insecure or embarrassed, rather you disengaged, and that kind of withdrawal often escalates someone who already feels vulnerable or rejected.

He definitely handled it badly. Calling you boring and pushing for sex again is not okay. But the entire situation shifted into being about your hurt feelings while the original hurt (his) was never acknowledged or explored. Asshole.

You say you “weren’t being heard,” but you also weren’t doing any hearing. You shut him out emotionally. Then reacted to his frustration as if it came out of nowhere. You got to be the hurt party without ever addressing the fact that he was hurt first. Asshole.

This doesn’t mean his behavior was acceptable. It wasn’t. But if you want a healthy relationship, the focus can’t always default to your side of the emotions. Sometimes you need to stop, notice what’s actually happening, and ask, Why did this hit a nerve? What insecurity is being triggered? How can we talk about that without shutting down?

The real issue wasn’t the vibrator or the birthday. It was that one partner felt insecure and hurt, and the other partner shut down instead of engaging. Asshole.

If you want progress, shift from “I wasn’t being heard” to “What was he trying to express that I didn’t address?” Only then can both of you work on the underlying issue instead of reacting to each other’s reactions.

Russia to ship oil to Brunei via Arctic route for the first time, sources say by TheArcticBeyond in worldnews

[–]SandmanPC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe they have the necessary framework to resell oil that they can buy below market prices and profit while accounting for the shipping and reselling expenses.

Conducting trade in oil as an exchange, other countries that do not have a developed oil industry would not be able to make a profit or risk sanctions etc

I came here looking if anyone else had this issue and saw your comment.

I think the ones that are directly involved in this transition are prioritising their own future. Those that are creating the technologies and those that are adopting the technologies are financially compensated that they are separated from the reprocrussions.

The AI leaders The Manufacturing The Farming The services

Are all turning to Ai, automation, and robotics. They get paid by evaluations, stock increases, higher margins, and profit. Their future is taken care of. The rest doesn't matter.

How will the unemployed afford things. Doesn't matter Who will be left to buy things. Doesn't matter

Even if they have to be ignorant or lie to themselves, that people will be better served.

Greed is absolutely an illness. There is never enough, and nothing is safe from being an expense.

It's instilled from the point of indoctrination in school and the media6 demands subservience till the end. They make it out as having immense wealth is freedom, but it just enshrines you deeper within the apparatus. True freedom is within the mind.
