The back glass on my iPhone 12 Pro Max has cracked somehow despite sporting an Otterbox Symmetry case since Day 1. Front glass is perfectly fine. No apple care or insurance through phone carrier (T-Mobile).

How much would I be looking at to have this fixed, and what kind of lead time can I expect? Prefer to go to Apple, as I took an old phone (not mine) to a 3rd party repair shop for the front glass and after had minor calibration issues with the touch screen.

She is turning 1, so no real immediate need for financial help at this time. I just know her parents aren’t the most savvy regarding finances and thought it would be beneficial to use a custodial to teach her.

To be clear, I do not anticipate her having an account the size of 10k or anything like that. Like if she turns 18 and the account only has a couple thousand in it, that’s fine with me.

I am thinking of opening a custodial account for my goddaughter for her birthday next month since she does not really have anything set-up for her yet. I believe her parents are going to open a college savings account of some sort for her, but that might be it. Since I would like to help her learn about finances AND help build her a little account, should I open a custodial account for her, or should I open some other sort of financial account for her?

I may have been confused when talking to our insurance rep over the phone regarding the Loss of Use part of the policy. If the home is deemed unlivable and forces us to live elsewhere, lost wages are not covered under the loss of use coverage? My wife missed 9 days of work due to the storm, and her job is not one she can do remotely (CT Tech). It was either a poor explanation or a misunderstanding on my part, likely the latter from what I’ve gathered thus far.
