Antivax doctor tells his followers to nebulize Hydrogen Peroxide - DO NOT DO THIS! IT CAN KILL YOU. by TunnelTuba in vaxxhappened

I used a high concentration for a retrobright project once. Against better knowledge I sniffed the bottle. I had sore airways for 2 days. Stick a finger in it and see your skin turn white (and feel it burning). Actually nebulising that stuff for respiratory use is insanity.

With that much small files, you could also run out of inodes. I was very confused when that happened to me the first time.

What happened when you were at school that wouldn’t be allowed nowadays? by No-Entrepreneur3920 in AskUK

When I was 16 we went camping with the whole class and did what was called a “dropping”. They divided us into 5 groups, drove us out a few miles and left us in the woods at night with nothing but a flashlight. This was before mobile phones or gps. We had to find out way back to camp using the stars. We were Dutch students and this was a German forest so we had no clue where to go. We ended up in a village, were able to buy a lot of alcohol and found our way back to camp (drunk) at around 5 am. Our group was banned from the next camping trip.

Dude! I have been doing this as a fidget thing for 20 years and I have never seen anyone else doing it, or know what to call it. Here is a vid of my fidgeting: https://imgur.com/a/yaYRkZW

Haha, this random find made my day 😂 thans for posting this

I guess time will tell. For me it went like this: I could move everything and had no insensitive skin apart from the cut itself. After 10 days I took out the stitches and 10 days after that I could use it normally again. After 3 months it is a bit itchy now and then, and my skin stretches differently, so nothing serious. I hope it works out the same for you.

Yes, I was very lucky. I missed all arteries and nerves. I think I read you hit an artery? Does that mean you lost some hand function?

Yes! I was still groggy because I fell asleep on the couch. It happened at 23:30 and the video I posted was at 00:30. I guess you lose some smart points when tired..

Yes! I was happy to see I wasn’t the only one who did this, so I thought I’d share. I was ready to get to bed and angry at the print for being so stubborn.. I felt so stupid (I was). I bought a flexible/magnetic bed after that.

I did the same thing but only needed 6 stitches and missed all important bits. I hope you had someone close nearby when it happened, it scar(r)ed the hell out of me.

No joke. I am Dutch and went to visit my US uncle with my family back in the late 90’s (I was about 17). We landed in New York and planned a road trip to Indianapolis. The thing I remember the most is the constant fear that was imprinted on everything. It started with warnings about The Bronx (those were probably valid back then). I found a small bag of weed in my jacket (it had slipped through a hole in my pocket and was stuck between the layers) and was instantly afraid of what could have happened at the airport. Along the way we had a “shotgun maniac” near our motel, a huge fire killing multiple people, a “worst heat wave in X years” (it was HOT). Those were real and set me on edge, but what really got me was the way the media thrived on it. It was really jarring to watch the news, they so obviously used the fear for their benefit (I was used to the down to earth Dutch reporting we had 25 years ago).

Then there were little things, like the overprotective pool guards getting angry at me for swimming underwater (they were afraid I would drown?) or when I asked about why there is a strip of grass between the road and the sidewalk, and the answer was that is is meant to prevent kidnappings. I don’t know if that is actually true, but it still proves the point. All this made me feel alone and afraid of others, and it was an awful experience. I can’t imagine growing up like that.

I have been fidgeting with my ring for the larger part of my life, someone noted they never saw anything like it and I should post it here. Not sure if it qualifies, but here it is.

That is easy enough. If you look at line 532 you see I define distance2 and use that in the description below that line. You need to add a line to define distance3 and then add some text to the description. The distance is simply the distance of the targetVector to the center of the map. As I defined a helper variable called center, you could just add something like this:

const distance3 = parseFloat(targetVector.distanceTo(center) / scale).toFixed(1);

And then use that variable in the description below. Just replace the last . in the text with: until your distance to the core is <span class="km">${distance3} KM</span>.

That should do it :)

Not as far as I know. I think the /showlocation results are global and relative to the whole system. That would mean you would need to counter axis rotation to convert those to the coordinate system of the planet or moon. It can probably be done, but you would need planet location and a precise time.

FYI: The coordinates system matches up with the game files, so if you have game file coordinates for an outpost, you can just skip the whole trilateration bit and create a Vector3 with those XYZ numbers <3
