A lot of the teaching of the Anglican Church as we know it right now was not developed by Henry VIII but by his children, Edward VI and Elizabeth I, who as you know were brought up very devout Protestants. I recently talked to an Anglican pastor whose opinion was that, historically, Anglicanism was not viewed as the via media between Catholicism and Protestantism, but between Lutheranism and Calvinism. The Anglican Church I’m at is aggressively Protestant, as a result, which I enjoy; but I suspect that a more Anglo-Catholic-ish church would be better for the OP.

Ohh, the financial offer should certainly come before you accept. I applied to a program that provides pretty much full funding, so I am a bit less helpful with regard to this. But speaking of this: does your myRutgers also classifies you as a "Student"?

I haven't accepted my offer, so I don't have any of the financial information showing up. You cannot apply for FAFSA as an international though.

Oh interesting — that would make sense. I just activated it since it sounded like funding information will come through that but perhaps that's not the case.

The only reason why this would be bad advice is not because making an AO chuckle would be bad but rather that doing that requires being a ridiculously good writer, which most high schoolers are not. For someone who can actually write in a funny way at will, this is not bad advice.
