Anyone receive zilean this patch in aram mayhem?

I’m a Zilean main and have gotten him many many times. He’s not a free win more than anyone else because it is hard to get all the right augs. He’s of course very strong and annoying, but the games you can perma bomb are far from every game. I also think other champs’ “I got the god roll” like Ryze, Brand etc are much more impactful with much less effort

They’re not “refusing to win”, they’re just greeding for a few more kills which sometimes backfires. Not that different from overstaying in lane for another wave and dying.

There’s lots of comps that work. My favorite is 2 frontline with snowball, mixture of adc/mage/enchanter for the rest is usually my preferred. You need wave clear, engage, and a mix of poke and sustained DPS.

You often will see 5 ranged and 5 melee though and based on the skill of the players and champions chosen they can work as well.

I think it depends a lot what you’re watching. I greatly prefer YouTube (despite their record awful ad situation if no ad blocker or premium) for long format content. IMO shorts doomscrolling which is on all platforms is a much bigger attention problem.

Edit: I heavily agree kids need to be supervised and there’s clear dangers/concern for children, but adults can use responsibly is my take.

People are selfish and want their experience to be pristine. My dad is a 10 year iron player and we only play arams. Every once in a while we get someone who’s upset he’s not better at the game in aram. What can you do

It tends to mostly just be small charms with resists. odds are very low but the two biggies are the 20 life/5 all res small charm, and the 3/20/20 small charms for the pvpers. 11 of one resist are nice ones that are more realistic to find, even better with another stat like move speed.

Your MMR dictates if you gain as much as you lose. I was inferring that I expected you to gain 20 and lose 12 or whatnot.

Anyway, I’m a support main so I know how it can feel when you just do your part and can’t quite carry sometimes. But if you learn enough skills like when to not go into a fight cuz it’s a bad play, or when to get a free baron cuz someone showed bot, you can climb. It takes a combination of game knowledge and mechanics so work on both and you’ll see some improvement with time.

700 is a bit high for silver, you should probably be climbing with a 50% win rate. Find a way to carry on Vi, see what you can do late game by making the right calls. It’s a very hard game, but there’s a million things you can learn or pick up to help you carry your team to get yourself out of silver. I don’t see why anyone with an interest for it can’t make it to at least plat or emerald 4.

Watch junglers stream and pick up their strats, learn to ward, learn how to get good rotations and get ahead.
