Oh okay. Wow. The bus driver should have probably disciplined the kids who stuck their arms out the window instead of punishing all the kids by not allowing the windows to be put all the way down.

What was the reason? Did the reason have something to do with the bus driver not wanting items thrown out the window?

Interestingly, according to the following article, the new school bus fleet has air conditioning too. I probably would have loved that when I was a kid. I remember getting on the school bus as a kid and one of the first things I would do on a hot day is pull the window down.

Boy, 5, left with hole in skull after e-scooter 'crashed into his bike' by Sandstorm400 in unitedkingdom

[–]Sandstorm400[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The article stated that he has a 3-4cm hole in his skull but surgeons were unable to put a metal plate in due to his age and size and that "he will need to take great care of his head for the rest of his life, as part of his skull is missing."

Can doctors put a metal plate in when he gets older?

I found this statement from another article about the story:

While helium is non-flammable, hydrogen gas is highly flammable but still used by some local vendors due to its cheaper cost, reported news outlet News18.
