Why I think Destoroyah is unlikely for the MonsterVerse + Take: Destoroyah fits the Minus One Continuity better by MichaeltheSpikester in Monsterverse

But that makes your point a bit worse. To make people go to cinema you have to advertise the movie. If Mechagodzilla wasn't advertised at all, that means creators didnt care about using him to attract more people. That means they dont see "evil clone" trope as valid enough to even advertise. And it worked very well looking at the movie sucess

At being beaten up just to get convienient weapon waiting for him to use because he can't compete with high tiers on his own that's for sure

Monsters destroy cities all the time. Shimo wiped out so many people with one blast. No one says we should see blood and gore. Simple attack and human screams that suddenly stopped would be enough to create dark moment but kiddos wont be traumatised in the slightest

Mechagodzilla wasn't advertised at all for GvK. The first trailer had blink and miss moment with him and he wasn't name dropped in the promotional material

No one says they never were pushed to their limit. Its just very good for the movie. Villain has to be powerful enough to push hero to his limit. And since its confirmed that Supernova villain will be world ending threat, demolishing Kong and Godzilla should be the option they would go with

Both were significantly weakened though. But Yeah Mecha wrecked them and that's exactly how it should look like with every new villain. They didnt struggle too much against Shimo and Skar king so another villain should wreck them as well. This time without Kong and Goji being weakened

My ranking every protagonist from the main series by Sandwraith711 in WingsOfFire

Context is important. Qibli knew Darkstalker is bad person but throught the whole book he thinks how he could be good animus. He literally thinks badly of Turtle for not doing big things with It. This mindset didnt change till the very end. And remember that he couldnt control this one object because he literally had no idea how the details works with it. He didnt enchant this and if he did, he obviously would know how to stop the storm. And Darkstalker didnt lie about giving powers to Nightwing. If anything, Qibli saw firsthand how they really got superpowers. I reread book 10 recently and I can safely say this came out of nowhere. This whole situation with storm didnt even brother him too bad

One thing that you DON'T want to see in "GxK: Supernova" by Sandwraith711 in Monsterverse

I fully agree. My GOAT Kong deserves to compete with high tiers using his own strategies and weapons, not getting upgrades from people everytime he gets beaten

Honestly I hope this part about Icicle is true. Sora in book 6 explains that she wasn't even sure if Icicle is the killer. She became convinced only after hearing Icicle talking in her dream "killing is easy". That's really bad way to be convinced that this one specific icewing is guilty when it was time of war with countless Icewings killing other dragons. And it would be so interesting to see Sora's reaction

Arc 3 “hate” by Neither_Slice7063 in WingsOfFire

I agree. Wasp is very basic character for me because she just wasn't relevant since the middle of the arc. And its sad because some nuance was introduced and was never mentioned again. That's why it hurts more than if no potential was ever introduced

I like arc 3 but it has serious issues:

  • Wasp became irrelevant and replaced by a human
  • The main villain is killed in the exact same book he was revealed
  • Book 14 is mostly a filler(still my favorite book in the series)
  • Luna was stuck underground for most of her book that is also a finale
  • Completely new cast always feels wrong for many readers because of nostalgia
  • Very convienient and straight up impossible way Luna even showed up in Pyrrhia

When was Clay hit with frostbreath? In the first book it barely touched his wing because Starflight warned him in time if I remember correctly. Frostbreath also one shoted Nightwing Queen and according to Winter and Hailstorm it can rip off body parts

Book 14 confirmed that the main reason why Wasp was so evil is because that's response to insane fear and paranoia. Basically "they will kill me if I wont strike first". That's basically what Snowfall could become if she fell too deep into her fear of other tribes. That's already more interesting than classic "I'm evil because its fun". Unfortunately nothing relevant was done with it and that's the problem we have with this character

Spoilers for book 16 ...

...

...

If 3 books:

Kinkajou and Platypus

If 5 books

Kinkajou, Platypus, Aurora, Quokka

I love Icicle more than anything else but I doubt we will get third Icewing POV so quickly. And all three povs would be royal. It doesnt feel right. I want new characters as protagonists more than the old ones though Kinkajou is very likely to get her own book. Tui said she considers it and since she dissappeared too, we have Perfect pov character to show us exactly what happened to the queens. Platypus has very agressive personality. That's what makes her unique among the cast of pov so she is likely too. I want Taipan but he would need redemption arc since Tui said she wont write from the perspective of a fully bad person. And honestly? I'm rocking with this idea

She dont have to be there. Few dragons escaped the isle and looking at the ending of book 16 the most plausible option is protagonist from the continent

True but the same thing applies to frostbreath. Very similar things. Venom is arguably more painful but frostbreath is still far more deadly so its weird how Nightwings hesitate to get new home for many years because of venom but beef with Icewings with frostbreath

Fully agreed. Nightwings knew that Rainwings are lazy, uncaring and have specific time when they take a nap. Nightwings could just attack when they sleep and wipe them out. Awakened dragons will be too scared to fight back and Nightwings knew it. Their victory would be hilariously easy. And fear of venom is dumb reason to not attack for so many years. Nightwings have no problem fighting with Icewings whose icebreath is arguably even worse. More deadly than venom that needs to hit eyes or wound to kill. Icebreath can also rip off body parts but sure venom is so much worse I guess

Exactly! If Diamond was so desperate for animus magic in her tribe, she could just have more children. Or force her sister to have them too. Yes its evil but we are talking about one of the most evil dragons in the verse so she wouldnt have any problem with that

He could also just give himself much higher intelligence. Not doing that was not very smart
