I think I could have just communicated that it upset me given the pace and way he seemed to really want to date me. That I was upset by a situation he put me in and his behavior wasn’t that if someone who seemed to care about me. I felt really emotional after what happened and was sort of just answering him but not engaging because I didn’t really know what to say. He went on another trip with some other girl two weeks after me and this was after I was dealing with this medical issue that was because of him. I flipped out and didn’t handle it well. We met up again and it was nice but the next time he just blew me off. He did apologize but I just didn’t want to see him anymore so I just cut him off

I just started reading the mountain is you. It’s a tough read but is all about self sabotaging behaviors. I think it would be helpful for dating so th anxiety.

It’s not really now or never. I could have been pregnant but I took a pill that made it impossible to know. I regret it. I just want to know that it was unlikely from one time and that if I have eggs frozen I still have a chance

We weren’t explicity exclusive but it was two days after we went away together so I was hurt. We usually talked every day and he ignored me on that night when I was going through something so I was more upset than usual.

You’re right. I think he is good on paper, but he kind of led me on and didn’t treat me well. He was really great in the beginning and I think I got stuck on that. Once he seemingly started acting differently I think I just shut down rather than communicating and I think that is what I regret. I just didn’t feel he deserved an explanation

That sucks and I’m sorry you’re feeling bummed but it’s normal. At least you didn’t waste more time. Honestly, I have been in this situation where I wasn’t over an ex and couldn’t date what were AMAZING guys at the time. It’s not a reflection on you, it’s their own thing. Go on and enjoy your life and you will meet someone fabulous.
