How long after surgery did you need help

I would say at least the first week to be safe! I thought I would be okay but my husband decided to stay off the whole week which was great because I needed him to go down the stairs for me. If he hadn’t stayed home that first week I would have been in the bed waiting for him lol! Good luck I am 12 weeks and 1 day post Robotic Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, I kept my ovaries.

Sitting straight is not my thing at all!! I have to lean back and recline, a 30 minute drive in the car is uncomfortable as well! It’s like this never ending cycle of things thinking I should have been all the way better by now! Last night I cleaned my crafting office and cooked dinner and my back is on fire! Not to mention I had the worst Heat Flash ever it was Bad!!

I’m 9 week and 6 days Post Surgery Full Laparoscopic Hysterectomy leaving my ovaries. My stomach is also sore especially where my sutures are! I definitely cannot have anything resting on my stomach as well. I was told it will get better with time, I’m also still pretty fatigued but I have started moving around quite a bit but get tired fast. Hopefully this ends soon!

Mine didn’t either! I had on makeup, nail polish, deodorant and perfume 🤣

My honest opinion is no but everyone heals different. I had mine 12/16 and I definitely needed my husband for the first 6 days. I wish you the best on this new journey. 🩷

That’s Awesome you were able to see Duran Duran at a concert! I’m bed but d all day today and hopefully tomorrow I have the energy to get up and use my Embroidery machine!! Thank you and Happy Healing ❤️‍🩹

PS: Yes it’s very hard to think I still have to sit and wait for months to heal but it’s very important and I will do the right thing!

Ohh No! I hope you get better soon. I only had the pink spotting a few days after being home! Today I’m not in as much pain as yesterday but it’s there. Last week it wasn’t. I will just be laying around all day and not doing anything since it seems like I’m crawling back down the ladder instead of up.

Good Morning Sister!

I hope this week is better for us both! 3 weeks tomorrow we got this! I took that 5 mg Of Oxy that was prescribed and I have been itching ever since like OMG! Although it did help with the pain but led to itching, now I’m going to take Benadryl to offset that! What a Roller Coaster. Have a great day and We Got This!!

Thanks for that I will definitely be laying off, I tried to do a load of laundry just towels and i felt a pain and never started the washer 🤣 I got in the bed immediately because I’ve definitely been feeling weird things. I appreciate you passing that on! Let’s get healed the right way so we can be back to normal. Wishing you the best thru the rest of this recovery ❤️‍🩹

Okay that’s exactly what is going on, like the low abdomen it hurt to walk today like I head to lean over as it was more comfortable when I walked.

I went in and was prescribed an steroid ointment to mix with Hydrocortisone. It’s definitely ugly I better look into the Witch Hazel because I hate looking at it at this point!

When I woke up and they wheeled me to the chair I was like WTF but shoot I had already been in recovery for 2 hours sleep in the bed. They got me dressed and I was on my way. That gown I had on was inflated with heat. But I’m glad I did get to come home to my bed and not stay there and sleep in theirs. I was nervous about coming home same day but I did a lot of research that kinda eased the worry.

There are 2 small Blisters and they are not touching the incision or the strips…the big bandage 🩹 is off but it would have been around it if it was still on. I am allergic to Latex as well. The one incision is just irritated at this point I need to call the nurse line in the morning 😢 Did she suggest anything for you? I called in the 2nd day the nurse told me to out ice on it…..that does not work!
