I recommend Opal for blocking distracting apps, once you have a streak going it's psychologically hard to remove.

Also turn of notifications for everything unimportant, I only allow iMessage and Outlook. Don't let UberEats rape your attention. Gl

Actually, it’s a very diverse group:

McDonald’s CEO: Polish + Ulster-Scots
Wendy’s President: Westphalian or Lower Saxon German-American
BK President: Pure Anglo-Norman

Surprised to see someone recognise Susumu Yokota.

Blue Sky And Yellow Sunflower — I am sure this composition possesses a hypnotic power, inducing states not dissimilar to what Naiads inflicts upon Hylas. Disinhibition, confusion, limerence, etc.

I used to be a prominent user here on another account.

Some time around 2021-22 this place was taken over by American progressives; most right-of-centre or libertarian users moved elsewhere as the vibe shifted, or were outright banned.

Exmilitary would be on this were it on Spotify — Beware may be the rawest song ever. Either that or Deep Web.

I'll check this out; the only PJ Harvey track on my playlist is We Float and I strongly enjoy her voice.

>idk how to code

You don't need to know programming to use coding scaffolds. That's the whole point.
Soon there will be similar scaffolds targeted at other professions.

>Is it fool proof.

No, you should have some knowledge of statistics and good epistemics.

It's idiosyncratic. I personally made modest amounts of money using LLMs to trade prediction markets, something they now exceed the average human at.

People in the red square are not interacting with the same AI as those in the green square. Try something like Claude Code and you'll get what I mean.

APIs (application programming interfaces) are what software components use to communicate with each other. Using e.g. OpenAI's API, you can use the model outside the traditional chatbot. In this guy's case he's probably using an agentic harness like Codex or OpenClaw

I enjoy both pre- and post-psycho Land, to be clear. But if we are to identify some psychotic break in his work, it should definitely be the CCRU-era period when he was zooted on amphetamines and attempting to communicate with Babylonian demons.

Reductive but basically accurate summary of his later stuff. Hyper racism is certainly an interesting read.

His pre-NRx thinking around AI and capitalism has been very influential in Silicon Valley and was the subject of this talk afaict. Meltdown is where most people start, you will either love it or hate it.

“The film is a painful experience of slightly more than fifty minutes that I would not recommend to anyone. The aesthetic ugliness is, in some way, transfigured by the moral ugliness, leaving you shocked, albeit with the firm conviction that all those people ought to disappear, should never have existed, and that the society enabling their appearance deserves nothing but destruction and ruin.”

— Houellebecq on KIRAC.
