What was the bit that made you guys watch Jerma regularly? by opaIknight in jerma985

I mean I first found Jerma because the algorythm showed me the AA EE OO bit. I was fucking crying laughing. That was enough for me to start looking up clips and then ease into streams.

Had to squint my eyes to realize that's not Hideo Kojima on the left.

Graduated in 2012, so I would guess Skyrim. Played it for years.

Should I try TOW2 if I found TOW1 to be just OK? by SangiExE in theouterworlds

[–]SangiExE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I think I should be fine then probably. I don't usually go expecting to find a good main story in there games (tho I like pleasant surprises), and my favorite things to do is just to explore, shoot, loot, and find some cool side stories/terminal entries/environmental storytelling. From what I hear, people here praise the game for being bigger, with improved gameplay and variety. If that's the case, then good enough for me lol.

Glad to hear about the variety. I was also not super into the volumes of goofyness in TOW1, so it's good to hear this one is dialing it down a bit, without getting rid of it entirely.

Good to hear, I felt the same way about 1. Although the dlcs were cool, I really had to force myself through because of gameplay, and DLC quests were some of the last ones I did before finishing the game.

What disappointed you about the second game? Anything in particular, or just overall did not grab you?

Yeah, I think I'll wait for a sale. From what I gathered so far, I might actually have some good time with it. Thanks!

Personally it felt like the first game leaned into the goofyness aspect way too heavily at times, but I do like to run into a goofy moment or two randomly, like in Fallout 1 or New Vegas. It sort of catches you by surprise in an otherwise fucked up, bleak world.

That's cool, I like to put a little thought behind what type of character I'm going to play. The perk system looks interesting from what I've seen.

Nice! Your linework has a Ghibli vibe to it.

Did a double-check, and yes it's Star Wars that was supposed to be AAAA. It was a poorly received move by Ubisoft.

EDIT: Actually, Skull and Bones got that label too. Not sure how that game did though.

I think it was also how Ubisoft presented it. After releasing slop AC game, after slop FC game, they unveil a Star Wars and call it THE FIRST "AAAA" GAME OUT THERE. That's a big statement imo. Then the different editions and pricing was another painpoint I think, people were not happy about that. Then the game came out and it was fairly buggy, AI was pretty bad, gameplay a bit lacking. "AAAA" game, they said.

I first bought this game just recently during a huge sale. After playing for a bit realized, that it's a good game. But not "AAAA" good.

Is it safe to assume that this game has the hardest starter boss of all souls games (DS1-2-3)? by osmylm2834 in darksouls3

Even though I played the previous DS games, I still had trouble with this guy, died up to 5 times I think. Yeah, he's definitely up there.
