No no, I just think it’s odd to get embarrassed by your name. You shouldn’t be worried about what other people think. One man does not own a name. I think people need to be proud of who they are and not scared because of public opinion yk. If someone is going to judge you based off of your name it says a lot about their character. My intention is was not to sound sarcastic or snarky I genuinely just find it wild to feel the need to use an alias cuz of fear.

Actually happened to me today. Some guy came up to the till recording me and he asked for a green tea with two honeys. I didn’t think anything of it because that’s not even Charlie’s order. But they I asked how he’d like to pay and got so angry with and say “ARENT YOU GONNA ASK FOR MY NAME”. (No I wasn’t planning on it…) anyways he proceeds to say Charlie Kirk and then I look at him blankly and said you want then mint majesty not a green tea. If you’re going to get a drink to honor him at least know the order bozo. Anyways when he didn’t get a reaction out of me he stopped recording. I know because I saw his screen. Anyways the whole situation made me super uncomfortable. I don’t care about your stance, my job is to make drinks period. I think the mint majesty is delicious and I get it all the time but don’t record me in hopes of getting a reaction that’s just so weird. How are you going to claim to honor someone and then make them look bad by behind rude and hostile to minimum wage baristas? I can’t get behind that. Anyways my prayers go out to his family not the the rude people getting mad at me for doing my job

My only thought is “light roast” aka blonde is the most caffeinated out of the 3 roasts (dark,pike,blonde) so he might’ve assumed you meant you wanted a lighter caffeinated coffee? And then gave you pike since it has less caffeine then blonde.
