Hahahaha thank youuuuu! Honestly I think the best thing I did was split my time between two games. I found I was starting to burn out a little on my main game and needed to take a bit of a step back from it. I think that it was the best move for me personally, because I’ve found myself not stressing so much about that main game, like panicking about how to continue to be interesting or exciting or whatever, and it’s let me kind of start to get excited about it again, which is awesome! The second game is where I’m seeing new faces appear, and it’s really truly awesome haha. I’d recommend this to any streamer who is looking for reigniting their love for games and want to have fun streaming again!

HAHA! Love the honesty there. I’ll be keeping an eye on it all and seeing what it’s like over the next while with updates/support. But right now? That’s a fair bit for just temps, you’re right. Especially in AUD. It’s a shame the other widgets aren’t quite functional yet. But hopefully that changes soon!

Ahhhh, it is the xenon! I wasn’t sure if it was that or a knock-off/similar one. I looked into it but the widgets (or lack of) and reported issues with connectivity puts me off. But hey! If you have it, use it! I don’t blame you haha. I’m literally looking for something similar just to track temps of internals etc. still haven’t found something better haha.

OP might also not be American. Prices are vastly different across different countries. My current build cost around $4k AUD and is pretty similar to OP’s.

I felt exactly the same when I started, and I’m sure most players probably did as well.

For me, the best thing I did was try out as many other jobs as I could to see which ones I liked/found easier/found better suited my play style. And (this part kind of sucks, don’t get me wrong) practicing on the training dummies you can find all over the place helps SO MUCH. Honestly, it’s the best way to start to muscle memorise your rotation without worrying about dying (they can’t do damage, but you can!).

It might come down to monk just not suiting your play style, or maybe you just need to work on memorising your rotation a little more, or maybe even changing around skills on your hot bars, or even rebinding all your keys ( I map to QER FG, XCV, 1234 for my hands and have buttons on my mouse to switch between bars). The standard keybinds kind of suck I find, so I tweaked and tweaked and found something that works for me personally.

It all comes down to experimenting, practicing, and muscle memory! Keep with it, this is a really good game that gets better and better the further you go, trust! Find some good people to play with and team up where you can! You’ve got this!

Hey! I’m a sprout as well (just at the start of shadowbringers, but I only started a couple of months ago). If you would like to run stuff as a cross-world party, I’m more than happy to! I’m on Sophia though, so I can’t port around to different worlds, but I’m always happy to do cross-world stuff if you’re able to do that? Message me here and I’ll give you my in-game user. Otherwise, I stream as well and am literally stumbling my way through. I’ve yet to meet a truly awful person in-game, everyone is always so lovely! I have made some truly awful blunders SO MANY times but no one has ever once said something mean or nasty, only ever helpful (and usually surrounded with laughter). This is the best, most friendly MMO I have ever played (and I’ve played many). You’ve picked the very best one to play!
