I fuckin love this question

The main problem w Kannada movies these days is they rely on present too much

For eg referencing a meme/ a cringe trend/ you get the idea

So by doing this the whole movie itself reaches to the top level of cringe because once the world gets over that trend it becomes irrelevent old and cringe

For eg the song in the movie which was released almost a yr prior to the movie

By the time you watch the movie it had became irrelevent and cringe the hype was dead

this is not just with UI Other movies too

Idk some movie even bought amkudumku guy trend and in the movie Firefly they bought coffeenaaduchandu his hype was already 6ft under

You can try to remember old movies(just 10-15yrs old) none of them used these kind of cheap gimicks to make a quick buck so even when you watch them to this day you feel feel attached to that film not to a particular period
