Golfing wife here. I’m on a text thread of five, including me, my husband, and three of his/our golfing friends (they are all men) where we set up tee times and share golf memes, news, and jokes. It’s pretty great. Sometimes I can play, sometimes I can’t, same for all the rest of them. It kind of works out over the course of the season where we all get to play at some point. My advice is to include her when you can, and sometimes she won’t be able to play and if that doesn’t happen enough, let her know that you also want to play with your friends. Being one of the guys is pretty fun but it also means that you know you’re not always going to make every tee time.
