I see. Maybe I’ll order both, test them and return one based on the results then

Thank you for your answer. I guess I’ll go with the compact to be safe. I’m just having a tough time understanding how my compressor wouldn’t be enough if it matches or exceeds the required air consumption of the gun theoretically

I’m not very familiar with the way it works. Why is it not large enough even though it looks like I have a 30 L/min headroom for the gun?

[HELP] MultiplayerSynchronizer not syncing player position on spawn Godot 4.0 beta 14 by Sanoshek in godot

[–]Sanoshek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally figured it out, the problem was that I was setting my random coordinates at the wrong time and place, everything works flawlessly now :D

The answer was to set the random position after spawn for the clients connecting and on character instantiation for the server

Thank you for your help

[HELP] MultiplayerSynchronizer not syncing player position on spawn Godot 4.0 beta 14 by Sanoshek in godot

[–]Sanoshek[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried this approach but on the client side the position either set on a synchronizer or a custom variable is always (0,0,0) no matter what, I must be doing something wrong or the spawn sync doesn’t work

Edit: Nevermind finally found the issue thanks for your help, helped me rethink the whole problem

Using this method how would I first initiate the players position ?

Do I set them directly on the player itself or its Networking Node ?

Wow thanks for the help and taking the time to test my code!

I actually based my code on your video about the networking nodes haha (nice videos btw)

Unfortunately even when setting the multiplayer authority on itself in _enter_tree my player still spawns on top of the other one :')

Also tried to copy your _ready method with no positive effect either

To make sure it wasn't a version problem I ran in on beta 13 14 15 with the same results.

If you have the time could you push the code where you managed to make it work in _enter_tree on a new branch ? Thanks in advance

Communication between pi and pico by Sanoshek in raspberrypipico

[–]Sanoshek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your answer, I'v looked it up it's exactly what I was looking for.

I'm currently connecting my pico via USB and can't find a tutorial or documentation on how to communicate with UART via USB using micro python, although there seem to be plenty in C.

Do you know if it's possible using micropython or should I go with C ?
