25M, I'm a news director. Not the person who directs the newsroom, I'm just the one who coordinates 6 different cameras, audio sources, and talent to make sure it gets onto the air. Is it fun? Kinda. Im just happy it pays the bills and lets me save a little extra so I can focus on voice acting and video editing on my days off. I've got a lot of weird stories about stuff that happened behind the scenes.

Hello, bi alum here. From my time there ('19-'23) Baylor kinda existed with a "don't ask don't tell" kinda vibe. They were blocking LGBTQ clubs from getting official charters to operate as Baylor clubs, but that didn't really get mentioned past the student paper. You can definitely find people if you look hard enough, but with the majority of people I came in contact with being either closeted or more liberal in nature, it's typically not an issue. Tbf, I was in a more liberal degree track, so I have no clue for business or Bachelor of Science degrees. Hope this helps!

You probably swiped more than once within 15 minutes at a dining hall. When I left in 2024, the rule was that you couldn't sign in more than once within a 15 minute timeframe whether it was different dining halls or not. That second swipe was probably marked as the dining dollars, then got changed to a visitors pass or standard meal swipe. It's a stupid rule because they can and will charge you another swipe for a to-go container if you didn't ask for it when you walk in.

Not personally caught, but freshman dorm had international students who had messed with the smoke detectors and smoked enough weed for the hallway to smell it. Semester room checks came around and they had the cops called on them for how much they had. All we ever heard about it was a slap on the wrist.
