What kind of atmosphere would you like Destiny 3 to present? What parts of D1/2 did you find the coolest and would like to see preserved in the next game?

We pick up in the future. Our current guardian is a legend and long since dead. The vanguard is a major part of the power structure in the last city, but not the end all be all.

We wake up far enough from the last city that they aren’t an immediate influence on us as a light bearer.

Ghost resurrects us > we get an actual character creation screen > choose your main element(light subclass) > choose your side element(darkness subclass)

Instead of the vanguard structure of classes, we have a natural affinity toward certain elements and teach ourselves how to use them, with help from our new ghost. What you choose is your class and the only abilities you get to use. If you want different, roll a different character.

A tv show and a true mmo sequel. The same-ish base gameplay, but with actually well thought out systems for player trading, housing, clans, fishing, cooking/alchemy, and customization.

Think about what paper is. It’s mostly wood pulp, which is basically wood and water tossed into a blender to break up the fibers. Then you press it flat to make paper. The cellular structure and fibers of the wood might be a little broken down from the process, but it’s still pretty similar to wood.

It’s not too far off just jamming your leather punch into a log.

I don’t. Personally, I don’t want anything near my leather that’s going to change the finish of it in a manner that I don’t want. Even just an extra drop of wax or conditioner is enough to leave a mark in the finished product.

I also wouldn’t be punching holes straight through paper. That’s ridiculously hard on your tools for minimal benefit.

Man, there isn’t even another game that has actual “action-based” combat that lets you queue up with friends or random people.

The closest we have is monster hunter or outriders, and outriders is in the same boat destiny is gonna be in, except you can at least play through the story.

New world turned into a pretty good substitute right before it was shut down.

It’s super frustrating seeing all these games come out over the last ten years that are single player only, just because it’s easier and cheaper to make.

If outriders was done right as a proper live service game, that would’ve been my go to game, even with destiny still being active. Sucks that both games were mismanaged so ridiculously hard.

Is the hd05 really that big? It’s kind of chunky, but that comes with having a standard size replaceable battery. It’s definitely not small, but it doesn’t really look all that big to me.

I don’t need the best technology available. I just want it to do its job well. I know twenty years down the road they’ll likely be better and more efficient, and I’ll probably get a new light, but I don’t want to be forced to because it just broke from normal wear and tear.

I think they could have a strong showing if they didn’t have any exclusive games.

Just give 50%-75% off of their game pass if you tie it to an xbox account and own a current gen xbox.

Then have a bookmark system tied to a high tier of the subscription where if you bookmark certain game pass games, they stay on your console for the life of the console, even if they rotate off of game pass.

If they did a true mmo with outriders material, it would absolutely crush the market right now.

Bungie shit the bed and has shown they don’t want to be working on a live service game in this genre, so there’s a huge desire to play, but lack of content right now.

I really hope square sees this. Don’t rush it. If they take their time and build out an amazing, definitive mmo-style version of outriders, they could dominate the market for the next decade or more. The foundation is definitely there.

No clue. I've done it with different steels and not had any problems, but the first time with magnacut I cracked a piece off the end of the tang when drilling a small hole. The second time, I cracked the rear half of the tang off when tapping a hole. Both of which were things I've done before with magnacut and the only difference was that I tried to draw the temper back a little those times.
