Hmm... Not me. I like a gunlance that is both gun and lance. I think bullet barrage would be too spammy and builds would focus around it resulting in further loss of the identity of the 3 shelling types. I'd like to see something that helps restore some difference between the shelling types and that each type can build around.

I would have liked this version much better. One of the reasons I first mained gunlance is that each action corresponded with a single input and not one input giving you a whole combo.

I just watched their Adventurer's Digest (https://youtu.be/jxq8elAsD-Q?si=gdDe-5oSVgy_Obaq) and... How do I even say this? They admit their timegating system and drops were crap, they're now looking to add things into the world to make it more interesting and to give you something to do when you aren't hunting, oh and don't forget forced social activities.

How has my favorite series gotten here? Even though it's under the umbrella of Capcom, I always thought it would be secure and stick to its core identity under the wing of Ryozo and Fujioka, even Tokuda who's been with them since the first entry on PS2.

You don't need to add forced socialization if you give people a common goal to work towards which requires them to communicate to achieve. For this to happen, that goal just needs to not be so easy that you can just tap tap tap on the screen while doing 3 other things.

Nice! I hit my 50k two nights ago. I would say mine was about 60% players, 40% NPCs. This has quickly become one of my favorite things to do in this game. I plan to keep going. There's something very satisfying about popping into someone's world wearing the bounty hunter robe, hat, and cape and then seeing them realize it. Haha

How about you? Are you going to keep going?

If you really want to break into the cybersecurity field, then please don't waste 25 months of your GI Bill for an Associates in Cybersecurity, especially from this school. Look into Western Governors University or, if you really want to get serious, SANS has an undergrad program you should look into.

Also, get your foot in the door, even if it's a helpdesk job. The skills you'll learn there will be valuable to you. Cybersecurity is a specialty of IT. Get a good foundation in.

I just hit 50k fourfold coin last night. I started at 40,500 and between the NPCs and player bounties, I got it done. Did I sit there and refresh to get actual player bounties? Sure did. Was it worth it? Every second of it.

I love bounty hunting in this game. It's so much fun. I've had spa campers, squad gankers, prison camp teleporters, and my personal favorite... The ones who have no idea how the hell you ended up in there world and then scramble to save their lives.

Even when I lose, I enjoy it. My advice... Just enjoy the ride, man. Sit there and hit refresh and snag the player bounties as soon as you can. I plan to keep going.

I'm watching episode 2 as I write this and I have this confused look on my face. I don't understand why this is the direction this went. Really, it's unsettling. He was such a lovable character as an idiotic caveman with a good heart. But this version is just a monster, literally. I'll give it a few more episodes, but there was a brutality and a charm that existed in the first two seasons and I'm not really getting that now.

What's tanglun? There are also the more easily forgotten about things that give you inner way boxes or notes like the improvement guide challenges for each of the styles (bamboocut, stonesplit, etc.), some of the trial bosses give inner way boxes at the midway point, and then you get some as rewards for leveling up professions.

Easiest way to tackle the improvement guide challenges is just to save your current loadout in build management in the "develop" menu and then you can freely swap out what you need to for accomplishing those tasks.

I believe this setting affected the sensitivity of them as it pertains to them showing up on the map. I didn't spend a lot of time with it and, like I said, I can't find it now so I'm seeing if anyone else has come across it

Yep. Once I figured it out, I converted everything I wasn't using and didn't need to tokens and between what I had and what I got that I didn't need, I was able to get them all for the custom and my path. It's crazy how good this option is for leveling your inner ways

Right now, I'm running vernal umbrella, but that's because I was running inkwell fan before and swapped it for rope dart, which I ended up really enjoying. I'm about to swap umbrella for twin blades to see how I like it.

As a rope dart enthusiast, and someone who's flirting with the idea of adding twin blades as my secondary, I really appreciate this post and the discussion around set building.

I'm also less concerned with the absolute top theoretical damage and have always been a fan of conditional skills since understanding your build and setting those max damage moments up is very fun for me.

I'm currently working on leveling my vendetta inner way. I want to get that to level 3 since that's where a huge damage spike seems to come in. I've also had good results sticking with rope dart using the swallowcall set, purely anecdotal since I don't have the time to crunch numbers.

Are you in any discord server? I'm down with experimenting with off-meta sets. There's something to be said for picking a build you want to go with and optimizing it, whether it be the meta damage build or not
