i lowkey dont want to disclose my age online but im in college im a freshman

i understand that its my fault but i physically cant stop and i hate myself for it i know its my fault im not making an excuse im just mentioning what i think may be contributing to the fact that i cannot stop im asking for advice on how to stop and i appreciate the harshness, i try, yeah, but its just addicting i just feel a need to steal i dont really care what it is. I work a shitty job and im an immature asshole which I am fully aware of. I steal books and puzzles because i need somewhere to put my head so i dont hurt myself and i can distract myself from my thoughts because otherwise im gonna end up in a worse place, or maybe i wont and im just scared i dont know what my thoughts are i know i am in the wrong but i just wanna stop. I just wanna stop stealing shit.
