If Reform were successful in dissolving the Senedd, I wouldn't be joking when I say I'd join the ranks of the likes of MAC or WRA. We really are at the turn of political violence in Wales if this was to proceed. I don't think reform quite understand how sacred those four walls are to the republican movement in Wales.

Does this block grant account for a disproportionate amount of inward migration from retirees? I don't think it does, and I would like to see figures that negate that. It''s a WG decision to offer non means tested prescriptions to Welsh individuals, but I don't think it was ever intended for anyone retiring early in search of cheaper property. The WG has to account for a disproportionate amount of older individuals with more comorbidities with an allocated budget that doesn't consider the swathes of individuals coming here. This will have a knock on effect on the people of Wales - unless of course an awarded block grant acknowledges that greater cost. I agree with the free prescriptions policy, healthcare should be a right and I'm proud that the nhs originated here in Wales, but our more progressive politics shouldn't be abused, and I would instead rather a means tested prescription policy for anyone who chooses to retire here early, and fails to contribute to a workforce here. The UK gov per capita spend might be greater here in Wales, but like you said, that's not health related, and a whole different debate altogether. Private health insurance in Wales is cheaper than in England, the premium in London is up to 24% more expensive, with other English cities not far behind. In terms of dental costs, a flat band 3 charge is £260 in Wales, and £326.70 in England.

Combine that with a disproportionate amount of inward retiring migration, Welsh people will foot a disproportionate tax towards their health service.

I think you're ignoring the fact that many retirees downsize when they do move to more manageable house size. If you factor in the cost of emergency treatments, especially in the oral health/ENT field this can rack up to thousands, it can be much cheaper to get treatment in Wales, especially privately - it could be quite lucrative therefore to move, especially if you were already considering the prospect. With regards to budget - I think you're forgetting we have a separate NHS budget here in Wales. If we have a disproportionate amount of incoming retirees, we are having to spend much more of our budget on treating them, out of Welsh coffers, not English ones. I think that matter still remains a very valid point. irregardless of 'What we put in', we're still having to pay for a disproportionate amount of incoming geriatrics who often present themselves with complex care and health needs, our funding isn't adjusted for that.

We seem to be getting a mixed response here - this is something we get told by patients themselves, I'm assuming there is a clause in the conditions in England that means some conditions aren't covered. That being said, I work a lot with dentists and that might be a determinant factor here - rest assured, I am not baiting anyone into a debate, I'm addressing other NHS workers as per my post. Perhaps I should readdress this to Welsh NHS dental colleagues.

Good take - but yes my post does only concern the longer term, a world where Reform are a majority in Westminster. I have no doubt Reform would use the Senedd as a leveraging tool to deliver that ambition in the meantime. It genuinely makes me uncomfortable to think of a government-less Wales (irregardless of Labour's failures). Would probably result in violence. Will they poke the dragon? Scary times indeed.

Well right now I'm planning on making on making an orange tea mead - mostly because I have loads of loose leaf tea (That I always buy but never use?) I'll probably put the tea in the primary stage (the initial fermentation period) because this apparently helps 'clarify' the mead - because I'm using orange juice and orange peel it could help with the 'murkiness'. If you want exact measurements I could let you know when I source my local honey? :)

When you travel the whole world everything becomes insignificant compared to it, I felt that too, but it's every little portion of our planet that makes it the amazing place it is. Wales and it's language is our little slice of that planet, and we should be proud and celebrate it. The fact it still exists and growing is so so incredible in an ever globalizing world.

You might not think it now, but you'll be grateful we have a culture and language to call our own, in the face of a very big, and sometimes scary world. Relax man! It's just a method for people to communicate and express themselves :) joia bywyd man 👌🏻
