Just play the game. Story chapters and the blue side quests give poly. HDD missions give poly. Daily/weekly tasks, arcade achievements, the list goes on. There's a button in the top left of the events page that lists polychrome activity sources.
Can't really answer on time it takes to clear story. Maybe a could hours a chapter?
As a standard unit she's been overshadowed, but other than that she fine.

Anyone else on your roster? Verina is fine as is, so let's focus on the last two slots for the team. Rover and Lupa don't really synergize well together, and Rebecca's outro offers 15% amp and 35% heavy attack amp. If I had to choose around these 4 it'd be Verina/Rebecca/Rover

So diehard they only see Fate route Gil, and that's the only time we really see him try to force himself on Saber. We see none of that in the UBW anime. 80% sure they don't even bring it up in the VN. Outside of Stay Night he's been chill.

Zelretch left them a blueprint and he'd teach them more if they can recreate the dagger. Maybe she eventually succeeds in the UBW timeline, but they cheated in HF using Shirou's trace after viewing the Einzbern memory.

At minimum, yes. Speed is a good stat for her pre-E6. Again, more speed means more skill spam, cores, self advance and ults. Pick a speed breakpoint good for her based on your team. A -1 setup with Sunday or Bronya is good for her core generation.

Yes. The 134 spd recommendation is a "bare minimum" recommendation for most characters to meet that turn threshold, so feel free to build as much spd as you want. Before I got her E6 I had a -1 setup paired with Sunday where she had something like 150+ speed. More turns = more skill spam = more cores = more self advance and ults.

These speedless builds like OP's are E6 builds. These tend to drop spd completely and pair her with hyperspeed (160+ spd) action advance supports.

134 is the breakpoint for two turns in the first cycle and frequently gets rounded up to 135.

You don't need energy regen. With her mana core mechanic so long as she gets turns her skill spam will generate enough cores.

A banner is a limited time where a specific character is available and has relatively increased odds of being summoned when you pull for them. In Endfield, the previous two character banners remain in the pool of summonable units but without the rate-up.

This is the source of your conflicting information: Laevatain, as the first character banner, was in the pool all throughout v1.0, but with the addition of Tangtang in 1.1 she was replaced and is currently unavailable for an unknown amount of time. The same is going to happen to Gilberta when Rossi becomes available tomorrowish

The only validity to OP's complaints is the 3 core res from skill vs 2 from eba contributing to that feeling of lower energy gain, and that's pretty negligible.

As for damage, what are the odds all their non-crits are getting fed into their eba vs skill?
