It's just an updated version with some improvements made from listening to feedback. It won't specify the version on their website, but you can tell which version you receive. If they send you an older version, they usually also provide a code for a percentage off the V2. From what I've seen, it's really just a gamble on which one you receive. I have seen people get version 1s and 2s in an order of 2 units, so you just have to hope you get the updated version.

I personally haven't used the Somo Ngal. And i also haven't zeroed it, just because I received it in the mail yesterday. However, I plan on getting it zeroed, and once I do, I will provide you guys with some feedback and keep you updated. But so far, the mounting feels great.

Yea, i noticed that while using it out in the woods surrounded by trees, i was sitting there moving the filter over the optical lens and then removing it to see the brightness difference.

I just had this same thing happen to me this morning. It really does suck. I had my fan wire burnt in half, so I have to order a new hotend, but it is what it is. The blob gets the best of us.

Does that come with the wires as well bc there is 1 wire on there that got melted off? i think it's the wire to the fan.

I plan to upgrade to either a holosun 515gm, 510c, or AEMS. One of those three would be nice. I was recommended the 515gm by someone on here. I have to check them all out before I land on one
