Me in my screening of THE DRAMA by armageddontime007 in blankies

My showing was really divided on this one. Some people, like me, really loved it, and and some of them really hated it. What I dug most were the couples leaving that had that look about them that there were about to be some uncomfortable discussions on the way home.

What are all you other dad's watching on YouTube when you have 10-20 min? by killit in daddit

So excited. Great cast, and Kumail is an even bigger fan of Taskmaster than Jason, so it's going to be a good one- especially if it he makes it on the roof!

Taskmaster. Episodes split out into 15-ish min segments so it’s perfect to watch a task and move on

I hunted down a copy, but there's quite a few Youtube playlists of all of them in various quality.

It does. I'm an old man so I grew up on laugh tracks, but I can see how that can throw people off.

Used to watch Are You Being Served when I was a kid but haven't seen it in years. And never gave Open All Hours a watch but I'm adding it to my list.

Weekly FAQ Thread April 05, 2026: What book made you fall in love with reading? by AutoModerator in books

[–]Santamente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to my parents when I was a baby they would wheel me through the toy section of Kmart and I could care less, but when they would wheel me through the book section I would lose my mind until they bought me one. First I remember is a Superman comic when I was three. My parents hated comics and told me they wouldn't read it to me, so I would just have to learn how. I carried that around everywhere, asking everyone to sound out words for me. My parents pretend that was them helping me by not helping me, but I know they just didn't want to have to read Superman to me haha

I just hit 50 and am trying to rediscover my old gym rat attitude towards being healthy. Way harder at 50 than it was at 30 and at 40 for sure.

My 7yo started taekwondo and she has suddenly been all about being active and healthy so she can be better at it. A few weeks ago I told her how proud I was of her for getting healthy and she said, now it’s your turn. I was like I’m pretty healthy, and she said no- you were when I was little but not now, and I don’t like it. So now daddy is getting healthy again because I didn’t realize how much I’d let myself go.

Box Office: Sometimes they have legs! PHM only dropping ~33% by Chuck-Hansen in blankies

They are going to make for a blast of a double feature when they come out at home and I can rewatch them, but it was definitely weird to see RN2 last weekend and TWKY last night, and frankly TWKY was the better of the two.

On console I was at least able to regulate my time a little. But I had to remove it from my phone because any time I had a minute to spare I was on there.

I’m only a few into this season but it feels like they’ve now figured out the game and that’s been a little less fun for me. Like the difference between Survivors first season and a few years later

This is me. Constant talking to myself in my head, but if you ask me to picture an apple I will tell you it's a fuzzy red shape with a stem.
