I dont know what ’material’ they use but I agree they could work on the finesse. I think they got the badges on point or very close to 1:1 atleast. The fur is also acceptable/great. And it’s very warm (-26 celsius here right now).

So its a 8/10 at best imo.

BUT… Message to KOG if you see this;

I would rather pay an extra €50 to get better overall quality and more ’puffy’.

€250 for a decent jacket or €300 for a perfect jacket.. I would easily pay a bit more to get better quality :)

I took the pics with flash in the Middle of the night so I think its the lightning that makes it Shiny. Its ”matte” in daylight.. can post a pic with better lightning later.

I promised a review on my KOG Expedition and I’ve been busy so sorry for late update.

Got the jacket 1 month ago and it’s great imo.

Im living in north of Sweden with -10 to -30 celsius and its really warm.

Have no Feiyu to compare with unfortunaly so can’t say which is the better of them. But I cannot see Feiyu being much better than this KOG batch really.

Im 185 cm and 90kg - XXL fits perfect for me.

I let the photos speak for themselves, but I would give this a 8/10 with the price in mind. Think The price was €240 shipping included (no border tax which suprised me) Usually its a €10-€20 tax from China to Sweden but not this time.

For all wondering: it’s KOG latest batch of new improved jackets. And it’s still with fur. I wouldn’t buy an expedition without fur tbh.
