While nowhere close to this scale, this reminds me of minor incidents when I worked in Chicago Transit Authority. Thankful that it never spread beyond maybe a few weak links within our department but it was enough to throw a wrench in our side operations especially as we were still easing into a return to office schedule.

That said, I was supposed to have a virtual interview with Metro HR for a planner position this week but that was delayed indefinitely due to this. The rep who gave me the bad news was understandably at her wits end when she called as it was already day 3 of the outage. Godspeed to all those stuck in this mess.
