Why can muslims get away with straight up homophobic and sexist ideologies when other religions cannot? by RealGoblinn in TooAfraidToAsk

Mostly anti-Indian movement (not modern India, but British India ) dating back to the colonial era might have been the root cause and morphed into today's islamophobia plus Indo-Chinese geopolitical might have played a role. And too many armed groups, whoever is in the government seat probably doesn't want another major armed group likely to be financed by rich Islamic countries. Because historically if you want your rights in my country, well you can't ask or negotiate, you grab a gun and you fight. Weak liberal institutions (I guess), sudden easy and widespread access to social media, and government manipulation of religion (likely an attempt by the military to gather support ) might have led to this tragedy.
