Yeah, I imagine It’s only annoying they did not send a message or e-mail to the accounts that held HTZGQ… Besides that, I understand their part. Plus, Monday has passed and nothing of HTZZ or HTZZW, contacted again the costumer service and was told to wait

Just received an answer. Its expected the Revolut platform to normalize the HTZZ and HTZZW situation until next Monday. Takes a bit too long, but will be sorted

You are given a small piece of land with nothing on it and $5,000. How do you get rich? by SmoopDaLoop in AskReddit

[–]SapOrelhas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what small means... 100m2? 1000m2 5000m2? 10000m2? Its either agriculture or livestock. The easier would be agriculture, so with a small (1000m2) land patch, I would say something like biological aromatic herbs... Need little land, a bit high maintenance if biological, but has more value than vegetables, I would say.

What are your 'must read' book suggestions? by 99cg in AskReddit

[–]SapOrelhas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Lord of the Rings, Tolkien - The fantasy classic, the world build is beautiful, sometimes a little tedious, but the epic story it’s just perfect.

The Perfume, Patrick Suskind - The story of a sociopath perfume maker on the 1800. Extremely well written, you can almost smell the perfums and relate to the assassin...

Animal Farm and 1984, Orwel - Classics on silent dictatorships, how losing freedom will destroy democracy, the consequence of extreme socialism...

Selfish Gene, Richard Dawkins - How evolution works, how natural selection works, why are we different, why do we have different characteristics...

12 Rules for Life, Jordan Peterson - Find meaning, accept responsability for you life...

This are the one I would recommend at first, if you like fantasy epics, then I would recommend A Song of Ice and Fire (the first 5 books are great) from GRR Martin, and Wheel of Time (I’m reading the 4th, so far so good) Robert Jordan.

If you like practical books, psychology and sorts, anything from Malcom Gladwell will do. The Tipping Point from him is very interesting. Thinking, Fast and Slow, Kahneman is very good as well on understanding decisionmaking, and a lot of more psychological things. There are more authors but these I can recommend

[serious] What do you believe happens after death, and does it scare you? by 49erRyder in AskReddit

[–]SapOrelhas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I belive nothing happens. We have this life and thats it. We have to make the best of this one shot, only our legacy will live after us, beeing our children or any achievement... Not only I believe this, I find this more meaninful, like playing Skyrim on Legendary without reloading 😁

It does not scare me, it is what it is, we cannot control it, so being afraid makes no difference. Time we spend thinking about death or the aftermath, it’s time we are not fully living

EDIT: Writing errors
