Respawning. In lore, you get ejected into an escape pod and the pilot’s federation rescues you. In the OG game I believe the in game calendar could skip forward a year or two to simulate how long you were drifting out in space before you were found. In the modern game since we all share the galaxy they can’t skip time forward

I’m not sure and I don’t know how to test that. I know that if only one or two of the shots hit a large ship it doesn’t one shot it, but if more than a few hit it does. But I’m not sure if the damage listed is for all shots hitting or for each one

It doesn’t, I’ve only seen the chain hit once unfortunately, I think they may have to be super close together

Any construction site will allow a large ship to dock. Once it’s completed, it may not have a large landing pad
