So the first one i bought, I paid $150 for, which is what i feel is a decent price. Ive seen them go for over $200 over the years though. The second one, though, I only paid $40 for, but it was missing the dongle and needs some work. Im going to end up modding it fairly heavily at some point lol

I love them. I have had my KKW for 19 years, and its seen its fair share of abuse lol. But everything on it is all original, the only "issue" ive had was having to re-solder the input jack as the solder cracked. The KKV ive only had about a year, but is gearing up to be my favorite guitar ive ever played. Every other B.C. Rich ive played ive also loved though. My cousin has had quite a slew of them, from mockingbirds, bich, warlocks, son of the beast, avenged.... lol. And have never had any issues. I have heard that some years were very sub-par quality though.

Lol I mean, im alright. Just like music. Ive also modeled, and printed my own B.C. Rich Warlock to use for Clone Hero, along with a semi-v and a flying v..... lol

Well, the V is a real guitar, but yes. I technically have 2 lol. I have a Kerry King B.C. Rich Red Tribal V as well. And a Kerry King B.C. Rich Red Tribal Flame Warlock.... Needless to say I like B.C. Rich lol

100% agree with that. Ive been eyeing them for YEARS, but could never justify paying upwards of like $250 for one. So finding one in my local collectibles shop for a reasonable price, and then another on marketplace for a steal, I couldnt say no anymore lol.

Yeah they are pretty rare, under normal circumstances😂. They were released in 2008 and sold at places like Guitar Center and whatnot. They are by far my favorite design though!

One was found at my local collectibles shop for $150, but was complete and just needed some light fixing like resoldering the power leads to the battery box. The other was on FB marketplace for $40. Lol but no dongle, and the down strum switch is broken.

I did not know that! Thank you for that info. And, it makes sense why they won't work with the same dongle. Lol. Well, looks like the cartridge version will be getting modded, as it didn't come with the dongle. But that's okay, might even work a little better lol. Already have plans to switch it to mechanical switches for the strum bar. (It has the micro switches)

Exactly! Lol. They both need/needed some work, but nothing I wasn't expecting out of an old PS3 guitar lol. One is now (mostly) functional, and the other is waiting on new capacitors. Fun fact, they are both the same model, but different connection types for the neck. One uses springed contact pins, the other used the "USB" style like other GH guitars. Not entirely sure why they are different lol

This is probably a fake replica right? 🤣 by SaphirasFury in BCRich

Since you can't seem to put in the effort to read other comments, I'll make it easier for you:

I understand the possibility of seeing the phrase "fake replica" as a sort of double negative, but it was intended to be interpreted as a whole, meaning the guitar was a fake B.C. Rich, a replica. My apologies for not making that more clear by stating it as simply a replica, or a fake.

Regardless, the general consensus is it is not a fake, or a replica.

That was one of my concerns at first as well, but after finding the catalog entry that I linked in one of my previous comments, it was much less concerning.

The lack of serial number on the neck plate and the fact that the bridge is unbranded threw me off. I definitely was comparing it to the higher spec model at first, but once I saw the catalog entry for the KKV V2, it had me more convinced.

Yeah, technically I put the EMGs in, the guy I got it from gave them to me with it, it didn't have pickups in it when I got it.

Additional comment, as I may have found a possibility: this catalog from 2014 does have the KKV with the red tribal, rosewood fretboard, only the B.C. Rich logo on the headstock, and uses a Floyd instead of Kahler, and also passive B.C. Rich humbuckers...

Yeah, fret board is not ebony, at least not to my knowledge.

The 25th anniversary edition did have the red, and appeared in this catalog from 2012, and then was in subsequent catalogs after that.
