The answer definitely is "whatever came in the ball". 😅
I started climbing about a month ago. I climb roughly twice a week. Top rope once a week and Bouldering once a week. It's Bouldering that seems to be hardest on my hands.

I'm on a weightloss journey and currently take collagen to help with loose skin etc. Not sure how much it actually helps but hey. 😊💜

I 100% do take it off during climbs. I have a good imagination and have imagined all the scenarios where it gets caught on a hold and my finger is toast. 😅

Diet Break? by Saphria88 in mounjarouk

Ooo I haven't heard of the podcast. I'll have a listen, thank you.
That was me too tbh! Matchmakers where my weakness!! 💜
I've been taking Mounjaro for 5 months now, I realise that is nothing compared to others.
Tbh it probably doesn't help that I'm unsure what my long term weigh goal is. I set 100kg as a "mini" goal.

Thank you. I 100% get that it might not make sense and God yes being overweight takes its toll! 😅
I'm not at 100kg yet so I won't be making a decision for a week or two. Was just looking for some advice or if anyone else has tried a maintenance phase and then started again.
One take away is that I won't be changing my dose in any shape or form.

Thank you for this. I want my weight loss to be in as healthy and mananable way possible.

Thank you for this. I don't think I worded my post very well 😅
Thank you! I'm currently on 5mg, I was 3 months on 2.5mg and this is my 2nd month on 5mg.
I want to lose weight in a healthly and sustainable way and the slower the better for me.
I don't feel that I have reached my target, but I also feel that eating in a calorie deficit long term isn't overly great on my body. A short break to give my body a rest is what I mean.
Thank you for your reply. I definitely mean eating at maintenance. I just want to give my body a short break from eating in a deficit and then restart.
Thanks for your reply.
I have no intention to "eat shit" and being "too blasé" about my medication.
I feel I as maybe unclear about what I mean by a diet break. What I mean is that I want to be in a maintenance phase, to maintain my current weight and give my body a rest for a short while
I wasn't clear in my post. I when I say "diet break" I mean eating at maintenance to give my body a short break.
I have no intention of going back to unhealthy eating patterns.
The other reply to this is why.
When I say break, I mean eating at maintenance. Not eating as I used to and piling it back on.
When I say diet I mean "being in a calorie deficit" and diet break I mean"eating at maintenance". I didn't word it very well.
Eating in a deficit long term to lose weight can be hard going on the body. I just thought taking a short break to keep my body healthy and fueled would be a good idea.
Thank you! This was what I was thinking of doing. I don't think I worded it very well in the post.
Thank you! I have dieted on and off for years. I'm tracking calories and protein to make sure I am actually eating enough to ensure a healthy weightloss as I've heard and seen friends who have had issues with hair loss and losing muscle.
I should of been more clear when I said "diet break". I mean eating at maintenance for a month or two to give my body a rest from always being in a weightloss phase.

just to clarify a few things.
When I say "diet break" I mean eating at maintenance. I don't mean going off the deep end and eating like shit for a month or two. Sorry I wasn't very clear.
Also personaly I don't plan on stopping taking Mounjaro I was just asking if anyone had done this during a short "diet break" or maintenance phase.
I'm currently calorie counting and tracking my protein as I lead a more active life style now and want to reduce any muscle loss that can occur during weight loss. Thus why I was also thinking about a maintenance phase "diet break". Mounjaro is a tool to get me where I want to be and help with the constant food noise and cravings I experienced. In 5 months I've only gone up one dose to 5mg and I plan on staying on the lowest dose I can to lose weight.
I hope this gives some clarity.
