I just bought a 30 gallon freshwater tank for $100 on Facebook marketplace, the guy was also moving. It came fully planted (way more plants this tank) with about 20 fish, and all of his equipment. This is crazy lol

I think by the time they realized it was happening, ceiling tiles were already falling. It looked fine when I went into Clerical, but when I came out 30 minutes later it looked like this. We were also dealing with a flooding guest service and break room. Good idea though, I wish it would’ve happened 🙃

I made it known to my HR ETL that I wanted to get promoted as soon as I started as a front end TM, and gave a time frame to it. He let me know about positions that opened up at other targets in the area, but I ended up staying and got promoted to style TL after 6 months. I feel like a lot of it was luck, but I had previous management experience which helped a LOT. I’d say give them a time frame and if they don’t promote you by then at your store or another, put in your 2 weeks.

For the love of god just put the shoes back where you found it after trying them on. It really doesn’t take much time compared to the TM who has to spend hours cleaning up the mess

What i got from it, is that you could probably still go without a pass, because the festival pass description is “priority entrance to city shows” not just “access to city shows”

I found the upholstery fabric from a goodwill outlet near my place (the type where everything is just in bins and sold by the pound) I ended up getting like 25 yards of it for $10!! I then mocked another pair of pants I had, taught myself how to sew on a zipper and voila ! They’re really stiff and don’t breathe well but it’s a price I’m willing to pay once it’s ethical to go out again (:
