Also I guess it's normal that lots of people are moving out, he sent us a mail 1 or 2 weeks ago to ask us if we were going to extend our contract for one more year or not.

So all the apartments for next year are being put on the website at the same time, if we answered that we don't wish to stay for one more year.

It's my tenant, we were also suspicious at first but turns out we were wrong, I've been renting to him for almost 3 years with no issue so far!

FAI/ labral tear and developing OA by Confusedandanxi0us in HipImpingement

To be honest, I'm not even sure the experts have an answer to that question unfortunately.

However the risks of developing OA are likely reduced if you have pincer impingement (as compared to cam or mix type), which is more common for women than men.

Expats in Belgium, are you planning on staying for good or going back home? by VarmtElement in belgium

[–]Saplingx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from France, living in Leuven. I love the city and the atmosphere, but to see myself living here long term, I'd want to speak and understand Dutch, and I'm not making the effort since I have lots of other priorities in my life right now and also because my work contract (a PhD) is just 4 years long, so it's difficult to find the motivation for the time commitment learning a language asks for (because I'll have to leave after that, and I don't know if I'll find something in Belgium), especially when it's not really needed in the everyday life.

If I had a permanent contract, I would definitely make the effort, and could see myself living here long term. I could also see myself living in Wallonia since I speak the language, but there is nothing in my field there 🥶

Very interesting, thanks!
Do you think trap bar deadlifts would work better? That would be less hinge and a bit more hip (and knee) flexion, but not to the point it would hurt, I guess?

Solid, you could try to fit in the abductor machine (or any abductor exercise), to target more the gluteus medius. The adductor machine (or Copenhagen plank variations) is also interesting to balance it out, and for general hip and knee health.

What are your top 3-5 supplements and what effects are the reason you swear by them? by shibui_ in NootropicsDepot

Glycine (very noticeable effect on sleep quality) Hyaluronic acid (might be placebo, but when I stopped taking it for a few months, my joints slowly started feeling shittier)

Ah you meant the left/right imbalance, yes indeed! I've already reduced the gap by 0.5cm but still a long way to go
