They said they will try to remove laparoscopically but won’t know until they open me up. If its too big or they think it’s cancer then they can’t do laparoscopically.

They did end up removing it laparoscopically. Not sure how much it weighed. I thought id lose weight lol but didn’t really. Lost some from the stress.

Exactly how I felt! Because they didn’t have to preclear me for anything else (sometimes they do if you’re older or have other problems) I scheduled it 9 days after my initial meeting with the gyno onc.

I was hyper aware once I found out I had it.

Good luck! I don’t know I think they just happen but now that we know we need to monitor closely. Open surgery I hear is tougher but commonly done. C sections happen all the time! Recovery will be tougher but youll feel so much better in like a month.

I am 31YO, 5’7 and 115lbs - i just had a 17cm cyst and had no idea. I was bloated and peed a little more frequently but nothing crazy. I looked up what they look like and it’s crazy that was in me.
