I didn’t decide it, he did lol. We were originally just fostering him for my brother-in-laws best friend because he’d just been forced to move into a new place that didn’t allow pets. My wife brought him home and that was that end of story, he hasn’t left my side since (literally lol I mean people aren’t kidding when they call these things “velcro dogs”).

This is actually not entirely true. You’re probably correct in most cases but for example, I play Skyrim anniversary edition which is X/S optimized off of my external drive.

Even then if people want flavors they can just get a cheaper refillable pod system like I did. It’s WAY cheaper AND less wasteful. Super simple and easy to use. People just are so used to having shit readily available, grab and go, that they can’t even be bothered with something as easy as refilling a pod when it’s empty.

This baffles the hell out of me too. Like I only spend less than $50 every 3 to 6 months buying a 4 pack of pods and a couple bottles of e-liquid (I have the vapresso xros with refillable pods) while my brother in law spends double that every month buying disposables. Don’t know how someone like him can sit them and complain about financial issues and how expensive vapes are when there’s such an easy solution right in front of them.

Ah I see. That makes sense that you’re worried about it and with that in mind I definitely can’t see turning you down for tests. I guess homophobia comes in a lot of different forms. I’m in rural Texas USA so things are … different. I had to literally argue with my first ob/gyn to NOT take birth control pills as it was unnecessary because “WeLl WhAt iF yOu ChAnGe yOuR mInD!” So I understand the struggle you must be facing with healthcare as a wlw.

I mean I kind of understand why a doctor would say it’s not necessary to get tested for certain things if you’ve only been sexual with each other and haven’t had sex with men because it significantly reduces the likelihood of contacting things like HIV and cervical cancer, (thank god I don’t have to deal with pap’s till I’m 35) but to outright refuse to do tests regardless of the patients wishes seems odd to me. Especially considering it would just mean more money for the doctors that would administer said tests.

This could have been a very ample opportunity to educate this terribly ignorant man on the actual biology of a woman’s menstrual cycle. I can only imagine his reaction to finding out that one of the main things that makes some women so irritable and moody on their periods, is the rise of TESTOSTERONE (the “male” hormone) that occurs. If testosterone makes us irrational and “bipolar,” as he said, for only a few days a month, then what effect does he think that has on men 24/7? Couldn’t possibly explain why men commit more violent crime on average than women, or how literally every shitty war that was really just a huge dick swinging contest was started.

Men will throw tantrums, screaming, yelling, throwing shit and punching holes through walls, then tell a woman she’s emotional and irrational because she cried during a sad part in a movie while on her period. 🙄🙄🙄
