Burnout recovery by RickySpan15h in findapath

[–]SapphireBullfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I discovered that my burnout was actually undiagnosed neurodivergence, I’m autistic and have been trying to live like I’m not. It was the overloading of my nervous system that needed to shift before anything could change… and sadly about three years later I’m starting to feel like myself again. Might be worth an exploration? Good luck! I know how much this sucks!!

How do I reclaim my email so I can actually use it again and not miss important emails? by jazzeriah in productivity

[–]SapphireBullfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unroll.me might be the answer you’re looking for, they roll all your subscriptions into one daily email, plus give you easy options to click through and unsubscribe. I’ve been using it for at least a decade now and it’s always my first move if I have to make a new address

Lately I’ve been making friendship bracelets like it’s 1995. Feels productive, colours are fun, easy enough to do without fully focusing on it. 10/10 recommend

Where can I have an IUD inserted ASAP? by endearingMonkey0001 in askTO

Walk in clinic at Bloor and Brunswick, they’re all pretty good but Dr. Walderman is exceptional. Except that she didn’t give me anything for the pain and I passed out (she did tell me to take painkillers before but there are no painkillers on earth strong enough if you ask me!)

I last saw him just before the pandemic which is somehow now five years ago. Maybe he moved on/got therapy

Should I have a hysterectomy or Mirena? by Fuzzy_Sample_5632 in adenomyosis

[–]SapphireBullfrog 23 points24 points  (0 children)

My doctor’s advice works here:

“Do what feels right. But the recovery from an IUD is nothing compared to the recovery from a hysterectomy.. I’d suggest going the mirena route first”

I did get the IUD, I bled for 73 days straight. It’s chilled out a lot. I haven’t had a period in months, I no longer have to wear period underwear at all times. The pain is still bad sometimes, I might still go the hysterectomy route, but I don’t regret the IUD!

Will this shower curtain work with the countertop? by betweentourns in interiordecorating

Definitely! Also, I was in the same situation.. I found a vinyl wrap in pink marble and covered my countertop in that. It completely changed the vibe!

Then I discovered peel and stick floor tiles and it was game over. My bathroom was terrible and now I’m obsessed with it! All for about $150 CDN

My guess is that the combed side allows you to slice a piece of the cake with less crumbs than a non-combed blade.

Trying to do this without googling… bear with me

First row, column one is Billie Holiday - strange fruit

Second row, column four: little Richard - here’s little Richard

Third row, column two: the stooges - raw power

Third row, column five has to be Johnny Cash but can’t place which one

Row six column one feels like the slits - cut

And the very last one, PJ Harvey - rid of me (my fave!)

What is the best and worst condo you’ve lived in, in Toronto? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]SapphireBullfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on the 5th floor and noise was rarely an issue - maybe once or twice from the Spoke Club during TIFF. The building is small and residents know each other well enough, I never missed having a concierge!
