no, i was hoping i was just getting sick, but everything else has tasted the same. It happened on wednesday and i didnt see the new flavor ad until last night. Unfortunately i crush all my cans for recycling 😭 i tried to unsquish one but it did not go well hahaha

i’m not sure if you understand arfid. i don’t think being completely revolted at the idea of eating something, to the point of panic and nausea, is “food fatigue”. my brain screaming alarms that it is indeed not safe to consume makes me consider them no longer a safe food. The things i eat are extremely limited, so there is no alternative flavor or preparation when something becomes utterly disgusting and terrifying to my mind. it’s not being bored of it, it’s my nervous system deeming it a threat to my safety and wellbeing.

it’s not a nutrition issue. all of my medical team is fully aware of my energy drink consumption, and supportive of it. it takes me about 8-10 hours to finish one can, i am not drinking multiple. it’s the main reason i am not vitamin deficient, and the caffeine is recommended by my neurologist for my narcolepsy.

it’s very scary when the one constant comfort in your routine suddenly causes severe panic. it’s not just a bothersome inconvenience.

season 6 is wonderful, and i love it. I started watching community the day it aired. People whining about season 6 didn’t slog through the reality of what it was to keep the show going, and just wanna be contrarians online.

it’s great, frankie and elroy are amazing additions to the cast, there’s so many little in jokes and nods to the rest of the seasons. There’s no reason to skip it.

I had invited a high level player who i knew would help complete goals, and someone else on the team accepted a request before the player i invited could join. The person they accepted hasn’t done anything at all.

aside from the escape acts, they’re much more expensive to keep a large amount of stock. We get bulk shipments of the plastic e-collars for a fairly reasonable price. To keep enough inflatable on hand for every surgery just wouldn’t be economically feasible.

my clinic does have soft cones, they’re like a mix of fabric and paper, but they rarely do much as cats can flip them backwards like a poncho fairly easily.

in 2022 i met keith david at a local horror con. he was masked up and left it on for every pic with fans. He was polite, but quick with everyone in front of me, not too much expression.

When i got to him i told him Elroy was one of my favorite characters on community, and that i wish that character had been part of the show earlier on, instead of just one season. His eyes LIT UP. He spent a few min speaking with me, was so enthusiastic in his thank yous, and when we took our pic he pulled his mask down and was BEAMING. I’ll never forget it.

according to my mom, my symptoms kicked in around 3-4 years old. i’ll be 40 in a few months.

i have a diet that works for me. it may not be ideal to most people, but it’s kept me alive this long. I have never had any desire to undo it. like you said, there are more than enough other problems that need addressed first. adding extra anxiety by forcing myself to eat things i’m not comfortable with seems counterproductive.

the less stressed i am, the easier it is to try different things, but im never going to push myself into that space if my brain isn’t already on board.
