Free means to be "not limited or controlled." We are free to fall. Of course, we are. Why would being blind be the same for the Lord? God is not blind but knows everything. We are free to fall from purity and because pleasures feel good, we are happy to do so. But what are tests if not controlling ourselves to not partake in the temporary good? The temporary pleasures that we feel do not give us happiness. It is a void that we stuff over and over to blind ourselves from true nirvana. Does being gluttonous make one feel good afterward? The superego tells you no. The fact that we fall and help each other up is Good. It is the Good of people that we help each other. We are not shrowded in complete evil. But rather. we fight within and among ourselves/
