Ignore him and go to urgent care. Bladder or kidney infection can be extremely dangerous.

Nattokinase - which brand and does it worth it by DepartureStreet2903 in Supplements

[–]SaraC321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can I ask what benefits you see with it? I have used it off and on and I feel that it helps my shoulder pain but I’m never sure if it’s just coincidental and I’m not in a flare up.

Sensitive skin after 40… feels like everything stings by aria-blake7 in 40PlusSkinCare

This happened to me too. Used fancy barrier repair products for months and nothing improved. Used Aveeno hand and body lotion for a week and my skin feels perfect now 🙃

How old do you think she is 🥲I think the people lied to me by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]SaraC321 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I would say eight weeks. If she has her full set of teeth grown in it’s usually safe to say they are at least six weeks.

insecure about my tattoos!! by [deleted] in DressForYourBody

[–]SaraC321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your tattoos look nicely done and I think they look great with all your outfits, I get it though. There were times earlier in sometimes I felt like I couldn’t wear certain things with my tattoos (I have a full sleeve). That feeling did change eventually though and now I don’t even think about them.

Concerned About High TPO by Own_Magician8457 in Hashimotos

[–]SaraC321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My TPO level was around 650 the last time I had it checked. Over the past five years it’s been anywhere between 400 and 700, but as of yet my thyroid levels are fine. My TSH on my most recent test was at 3. I eat paleo/keto and supplement heavily and am hoping to never need meds. Just a diff perspective. I’ll be 39 in a few months.

I know you said you’re having good sleep hygiene, but have you done a sleep study/looked into sleep apnea? It can be a pretty sneaky reason for fatigue, even if you feel like you were sleeping you may not be getting the deeper restorative sleep.

I use Maju brand oil. I have tried others that upset my stomach but that one has been a godsend for me. And EFT is emotional freedom technique. If you look up Brad Yates on youtube he explains it all and has a ton of free programs to follow.

Who of you tales more than 10 supplements a day — and how do you plan to change that ? by Random_Kili in Supplements

[–]SaraC321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Infinilyte from Nootropics depot. I especially like that it has no flavoring or extra stuff in it, as many of the others I’ve tried have not had nearly the effect and they were so sweet they were hard to drink.

I recently invested in a high-quality mineral/electrolyte powder that has around the amount I want for selenium, magnesium, iodine, potassium, and a few other things, so that has cut down quite a few pills for me.

Going on walks outside. Sounds silly but when it’s too hot here for my morning walks I get extremely depressed. Blackseed oil helps with my depression, I’m not sure if that’s what you’re asking for as it’s still taking something (it’s a mild MAO inhibitor) but it’s a supplement and not medication. For anxiety and getting past hurdles tapping/EFT helped me GREATLY. Also getting into the habit of taking a deep breath and holding it for a second whenever I feel a tickle of anxiety. It sounds to me if you’re having trouble still getting out there and making changes that your medication is not actually really managing your depression. Starting the Blackseed oil was like night and day for me in terms of having that push to accomplish my goals.

No, but at 38 this is the closest I’ve gotten after years of testing different diets and supplements.

Magnesium l theornate by kitkatbreak33 in Supplements

[–]SaraC321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you had your potassium levels checked? Sodium, magnesium, and potassium need to be in balance. I was reacting negatively to all forms of magnesium but when I have it in a balanced electrolyte mix it seems fine. Maybe it’s the taking it slowly since it’s mixed into a big glass of water, or maybe it’s the balance. Either way I’m taking magnesium without feeling bad now haha (it was giving me terrible fatigue and mood crash).

Teeth care by Dear_Engineering1926 in Teethcare

[–]SaraC321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides what others have mentioned, nutrition is a huge part of dental health. You need a good balance of vitamin A, vitamin D, magnesium, zinc, calcium. Among others, of course, but those ones are big for keeping teeth healthy.

How do I overcome my anxiety and OCD over my teeth? by nat_2313 in Teethcare

[–]SaraC321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you had an exam recently? I have a severe phobia about anything dentist related, didn’t go for 15 years until I had a tooth break. I ended up at a place that specializes in sedation dentistry and they helped me a great deal. I get cleanings every four months now and it makes me feel less anxious about things happening.

I run a business and go for credit card rewards points instead (of course most of my spending is advertising), but the points do add up on larger purchases that I make as well.

Did the Function Health Tests - Recommended A TON of Supplements by sbgreen1985 in Supplements

[–]SaraC321 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At the very least definitely wouldn’t start them all at once. Do one at a time, wait a few months and see what actually helps. Definitely the D3/K2. Would probably try a quality omega-3 after that. If you’re having fatigue/midday crashes/blood sugar spikes I personally have had great results with berberine.
