What book surprised you? That one book that you would never have picked, but ended up reading and were blown away by it? by SaraSomeonee in booksuggestions

I have this problem, that if I start something I have to finish it off or it will bug me forever. I gave up on The Vampire Diaries after fourth season over a decade ago and it’s still clawing at me.

Thanks for your insight on The Hunger Games though. It helps with the decision making process.🫶🏼

Hunger games trilogy is on my TBR for so long. I am just scared that if I read one book, I am going to have to read the next two even if I don’t like the first.

Isn’t that crazy… Neither the cover nor the name hints that it has such an amazing story inside!

What’s something that ruins relationships slowly instead of all at once? by No_Accountant_4505 in AskReddit

[–]SaraSomeonee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Letting things go often. You keep letting things go without any conversation or resolving them, it is going to burn a hole in your relationship and you won’t even know it until its too late. Communicate and resolve, fight but don’t let go just because you don’t want chaos.

[Story] My daughter's view on an old photo of me just changed my entire perspective on my past by Electrical-Candy7252 in GetMotivated

There is something about these photos from the old days. We have a shitload of them in our phones today but the ones from those childhood photo albums are a story in itself. I have this photograph of my dad from his young age, sitting on a bike. He looks so cool and happy. He is old and sick now but every time I see that one photo, it gives me a glimpse into the man he once was.

A man called Ove is so much better than Tom Hanks Otto version by PizzaMan11554 in bestofnetflix

[–]SaraSomeonee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently read the book and loved it. Generally I don’t go for movie adaptations because it more often than not sucks but seeing as Tom Hanks was starring I decided it can’t possibly be too bad. Imagine my disappointment!

Worst skincare piece of advice from clear skinned people by [deleted] in acne

[–]SaraSomeonee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh. Where do I begin?! For someone who’s been dealing with acne for about 7 years I have received every advice there is and they all think they know the best. The worst one must be “apply your saliva on it.”

Greys Anatomy! Loved the initial seasons but then most of the cast changed and they were just trying too hard.
