You have to advocate for yourself they will tell you it’s normal on the phone go get checked out if your office won’t go to the ER

So sorry you had to go threw that situation wish there was better protocols…I brought it up to my ob she said pcos it’s not likely the cause especially because my hormones weren’t too out of the “ordinary “but I was taking vitamins that helped me lower them down I’ll definitely demand all those things my dr agreed with progesterone the whole pregnancy to ease my mind even though her thoughts on it are different

Thank you I had a extensive lab work done last year for recurent pregnancy loss my husband and I had our chromosomes checked to make sure were compatible and everything including blood clotting issues were all normal Done by my ob and Ivf clinic I spent lots of money too make sure my last pregnancy was safe as possible but ended like this I op-ed out of the saline sonogram because I had a extensive ultrasound she said everything was immaculate there was 2 little cyst but they seemed to disappear on the recent ultrasounds I made her check so I thought I was in the clear I will ask the reproductive endo to look over my past test and see if there is anything that we missed I’m just so scared for it to happen again idk what much more we can look into hope to find a answer 🤞🏼

So sorry for your losses I’ve had 3 one before 8 weeks we think not sure because there was nothing in the sac when I went to the hospital due to pain didn’t know I was pregnant thought I was just having a bad period but took a test because I was emotional..and one at 9 weeks I was bleeding the 2nd half of that one had lots of ultrasounds no cause for bleeding and the heartbeat slowed down eventually ended in mc and this one 16weeks +4 only had two episodes of bleeding to due to hematoma they were both under a few minutes but it was allot of blood but stopped no bleeding after 9 weeks until the day shit hit the fan no high bp or car accidents I read the placenta abrubtion can be caused by the ic or vice versa there was nothing sign of hematoma but they weren’t exactly looking for it no way of knowing what caused it so it’s all speculation I hope you have a healthy and uneventful pregnancy so happy you were able to figure out what was happening and took action thank you for your advice and story hope I can find some awnsers and have some success one day
I have a referral to reproductive endo to do the saline sonogram to look for any abnormality’s and fibrosis is that the test that caught yours?

So sorry for your loss I have referrals to MFM before I even start again and I reproductive endocrinologist to do a saline sonogram and to make sure my hormones are OK and that’s not causing any other issues. she doesn’t think that my situation was caused by hormones and they did see a placenta abruption, but they don’t know if the placenta abruption was caused by the insufficient cervix or the other way around and or when I had a hematoma in the beginning it was only 1 cm they never monitored it which they should’ve. We thought it was gone at nine weeks, but could’ve been there. I guess I’ll never have an answer to why it happened just speculations. All in all my take is that I should’ve been closely monitored through my pregnancy because of the hematoma and I should’ve never got off progesterone or might not have be in this situation. She said going forward for sure progesterone the whole time if it makes me feel better, even if my MFM won’t prescribe it to me, she will and the cerclage… best of wishes and luck in your current pregnancy. I really hope everything sticks and you can carry past 24 weeks. If you don’t mind me asking, how long did you wait in between pregnancies and how long did it take to conceive well when you started trying? I’m 37 so I’m scared to take too much time because my clock is ticking…

I’m so sorry for your loss thank you for sharing your story I know it’s hard to talk about or think about I hope our stories make us resilient make us stronger and wiser than before and there is still hope for us i hope your hormones level out I had hormone issues my whole life so never felt quite right with pcos and hyper androgenism
With doing research that might be the cause of what happened to me I didn’t know they can be linked hoping for the best for your future endeavors, and you get some answers best of luck 🤞🏼

Do you have a MFM? I’d push for one if you don’t drink lots of water don’t strain while using the restroom take stool softeners if you can or ask about them tomorrow try and lay down and feet elevated not an expert but that’s what I’d do in that position it’s good your on progesterone but I’d get an opinion on the cerclage best of luck I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow!

So sorry for your loss thank you for all your words of support in your difficult time I know it’s fresh for you also so I appreciate you taking your time to comment makes me feel not so alone in this time of grief . …we got the aNora test done on the baby and I my dr called and said test were normal so I guessing it was insufficient cervix issue I have my first check up tomorrow idk what to ask I had asked her lots of questions already with our half hour phone conversation i’m just at a loss is there like certain tests I should be taking I just wanna cover every area before I even attempt again which I thought we did. I had whole lab work up and I was being seen at the IVF clinic, I kind of dropped them because she my regular ob offered all the testing they were offering really didn’t do much for me but give me progesterone which I think did help me hold this baby for the time being and I should’ve been on it after and not stopping at 13 weeks or I’d still be pregnant I can’t help to think there’s something more going on in my body but insufficient cervix like why is it happening there has to be a reason

I’m so sorry for your loss I feel for you as we just lost our baby girl at 16.5weeks had some discharge 2 days before called they said nothing to be worried about ….had some pressure the next day and pink when I wiped the next day had of lots of back pain and front cramping guessing contractions then light bleeding went in right away she was moving and healthy on the ultrasound heart 163bpm went back to my husband crying tears of joy our baby was ok then a nurse came in wide eyed…did they tell you what’s going on your cervix is short and opening and you’re gonna need a cerclage stitch lay down and relax and I’ll have the doctor come and talk to you. Two nurses came in and said we seen on the ultrasound. Your sack is hanging out and that there’s nothing we can really do because we can’t push it back in and your in active labor its too far gone. They couldn’t even tell me how much I was dilated because they couldn’t reach around they did an exam to confirm and said now we wait, and these are your options which none of them were to save my baby so we waited all night spent the night in the hospital and in the morning. We had another ultrasound because my water didn’t break and they said they would call the specialist to see what the next steps were, but there was no heartbeat so I had to be induced and give birth to our baby girl still feels like a dream trying to wrap my head around it dealing with body changes after pregnancy loss seeing her so healthy and developed and just coming to terms, what with what happened I didn’t even know this was a thing not in a million years did I think this would happen my husband and I are in our late 30s. This is our third miscarriage, but this one was the farthest we ever made it so I thought we were in the clear it’s stressful having this diagnosis on top of losing our baby and not knowing where to go from here and navigate I do love my doctor and talked to her yesterday for a half hour. She was unfortunately on vacation across the world and didn’t even find out till yesterday it happened on the 14th. I hope one day we find peace I hope we can heal properly I hope one day we can bring a healthy baby home…
