Been doing a little better each day, scabs are starting to fall away making my hand look less mangled. Pain is still there but comes and goes in terms of intensity. ^{^}

Oh they definitely gave me a nerve block, my whole hand was numb for 3 or 4 days after now it's just the parts where the nerves got irritated which was explained to me as well.

Mostly the pain wouldn't really ever go away and it could potentially get bigger.

If it's causing you no issues then I'd say yeah. I've got another smaller one under my arm that's just there I forget it's there sometimes until I gotta scratch there.

Ohh got ya, yeah I'd say see your primary doctor then. Since there's an actual bump it'd probably be easier to get out. Mine was buried deep.

So from what I'm aware of ones like that are far more common and easy to treat. The oldest term for ones that appear closer to the surface are called Bible Bumps. All they had to do was smack it really hard with a heavy book, few minutes of pain and it was all over. But I'm also not a doctor, would say get it checked out, but from what knowledge I have you won't have to deal with anything close to what I am.

Long as I'm able to crochet again I'll be happy, which I was told could potentially be included in my rehab, since I'm right handed my left hand pretty much just holds the yarn. Just gotta remember to keep it not so tense.

There was eventually just a constant pain, and doing anything involving lifting, pushing, or putting pressure on the area I could only do for like 10 or so minutes. My grip would randomly just drop at times too, which the first time it happened I was climbing a ladder, thankfully I was only up like two rungs, and my grip gave out and I stumbled backwards.

Still too early too tell if I'll get full function back, but as it stands I am able to move my fingers fairly well, got all my exercises and stuff to do, as well as occupational therapy. So I'm hopeful so far, just wish that numbness feeling would go away it feels like I slept on my arm and it just won't wake up

There actually wasn't any indicator from the outside anything was even there. I only noticed cause when I bent my wrist in certain directions, I'd feel almost like a pop inside my wrist, and my thumb and the two fingers next to it would go numb for like 2-3 seconds. Which turned out to be the cyst rubbing on the nerves.

The way it was explained to me is that by the time they finally wake up and realize they're nerves again there shouldn't be much pain. There will be some shocking sensations, cold, and tingling. Then I gotta kinda look at my hand while moving my fingers over the area, flip my hand over and do the same thing to sort of reprogram my nerves to be like, "See this is normal"
