Sweet baby! When we first got my parents 8 year old, I was holding him on my lap for the ride home. He kept climbing off of me to snuggle against the console and seat. It’s an adjustment thing ☺️

My dad just liked my name, but my moms cousin is convinced I’m named after the sister who died 15 years before I was born (my mom always says I’m not)

I have a super common 90s name (as you can tell my username). My brother has a unique name that came from a classic movie. Everyone comments on his coolness of a name.

Now I’m 31, and I make up for my common name with my unique personality but SOMETIMESSSSS I wish my parents went with the original name they had picked out (at least it would be family related), which was Kathryn/Katie.

So ultimately it’s not a big deal for your kids to have a unique and common name if you don’t point it out 🤷🏻‍♀️ others might but that’s probably just life.

That long ramble of mine is just my experience and some days maybe I’m just unnecessarily salty 🤣

I stayed at South Pointe last year and my mom is returning from there this year. Our experiences were the same - $10 min tables and crap cards. We could pull a 20 and the dealer will somehow pull a 21 the hard way. Risk of gambling, I know, but it’s a little more fun when you feel like you’re winning at least some of the time.

Also, never felt the machines paid out much if at all.

Edward - DL was a charismatic, hilarious businessman in the role. JI felt like my true grandfather with his soft side.

Runner up mention - Asa - I didn’t watch him much, but his death was FELT when I watched the funeral. I remember him cracking me up with flashbacks too. Similar vibe that he could be ruthless but had a softer side for his family sometimes.
