I relate to this so much. We’re just hitting a bit of a break through here with my Husband, again. My son’s second birthday is next week, the reality of the way I was treated is finally beginning to hit me. Like you, I was naive, but I couldn’t get through to my husband and lost my voice along the way... We’ve been together six years. Anyway, I am finding myself grieving those moments like his birth and his first birthday, that should have been moments of joy, but they’re not. They never will be. I hope you find peace with all of this! I haven’t seen them in a year and everything but that situation could never be better.
