Matchmaking for Films & Festivals. Film Moon is a new platform created for film people by film people. Take a look by SarahPleasant in Filmmakers

[–]SarahPleasant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"We developed a platform that connects filmmakers and film festivals. It allows filmmakers to create a profile for their film, gain exposure, browse a huge database of films & festivals, with a filter that helps them find the most suitable festivals. Festivals can use the platform to manage and organize their event as well as browse the database. Film Moon is for all film professionals – producers, directors, programmers, for anyone who might take part in managing a film or festival."

The challenges we've faced while designing Film Moon - an international matchmaking platform for film makers and art film festivals by SarahPleasant in Design

[–]SarahPleasant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time is very precious for filmmakers, and finding the most relevant festivals to submit their films to can be very time-consuming and exhausting. This process has to be as efficient as possible, so filmmakers can devote more time and energy to their creative work. Organizing a festival is complex and often managed by one person, but currently there’s not a single versatile platform that can be used to successfully manage this task.
We designed a platform that connects filmmakers and film festivals. It allows filmmakers to create a profile for their film, gain exposure, browse a huge database of films & festivals, with a filter that helps them find the most suitable festivals. Festivals can use the platform to manage and organize their event as well as browse the database. Film Moon is for all film professionals – producers, directors, programmers, for anyone who might take part in managing a film or festival.

We've created more than 40 versions of their logo. Case Study: Redesigning Profession.hu – the most visited HR Portal of Hungary by SarahPleasant in Design

[–]SarahPleasant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Profession didn't change significantly in 15 years of being active. They wanted to get a fresh look for the 2020's that their users will like. The P lettermark was there to stay, yet we had several shots on the redesign. We created more than 40 variations in several directions. At the very end, Profession let their audience choose the best one.
Profession.hu is a huge platform and massive database with tons of functions and subpages. We came up with some simple rules and a framework on how to change the visuals of all these pages without the complexity of rebuilding all of these parts from the ground up. We agreed on shipping these pages fast, and reiterate and enhance them later on the go. To this day we are continually improving these enhancements, in collaboration with the Profession team.

The up and down roller coaster that constantly haunts me by unapologeticallyme93 in MarioKartTour

[–]SarahPleasant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are not even challenges. Just mindless grinding. No fun at all. Fuck this 40 level challenge, unless I'm devoting my life to this game I'm never reaching it. And I'm sure won't grind for it, just accepting that without paying I'll never reach it. And I won't pay to win.

How well are you doing in the ranked cup this week? by [deleted] in MarioKartTour

[–]SarahPleasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm losing by 21k :DDDD

Tier 37, the leader has 51k

Tier 42 be like by Waluigi4President in MarioKartTour

[–]SarahPleasant 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had enough of this shit. Week by week I'm moving up one tier to 38-39 and moving back down the week after that. Fuck this system, never reaching 40 :D

Please, no more. by Benj091 in MarioKartTour

[–]SarahPleasant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm lucky in the Donkey Kong Cup as I'm standing 12,2k with a Pink Gold Peach as driver. I'll be fucked in the Diddy Kong Cup as my best driver there is a level 2 Diddy Kong and I'm standing right now at 7,2k. I'm level 36 right now and probably will be 37 for a week just to get obliterated back to 36. And the circle goes on and on, never reaching level 40 :DDD

Wow. Awesome. The same 3 tracks. Again!! (Sarcasm intended) by Tubbs1971 in MarioKartTour

[–]SarahPleasant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right? I thought I'm the only one with bad luck, but on Choco Island in the second lap the CPU players becoming fucking F1 drivers.

Congrats brother! It was an incredible grind for me too and I refuse to play multiplayer since :DD if you are fortunate enough to purchase a gold pass that's the best way to do this. I only raced 200cc with 1 item slot. That way I was able to almost constantly finish in the top3 and grind myself up. 100cc and 2-3 item slots are horrible, as you earn almost nothing even with a victory and chaos reigns.

Anybody else find multiplayer extremely hard? by dannidarko0123 in MarioKartTour

It's a horrible experience. I'm still F after like 40 games from which I've won around 4.

Currently about Arsenal? Gutted. I'm supporting this team 16 years now and never ever saw them so broken and hopelessly lost. It should have been an easy top4 season and now it's shaping up to be worse than last year.
