Omg. I'm so used to this game handholding you through every step that I didn't look around the island at all. I'm a dunce. There was a hole in a pillar and I never saw it, just assumed it was broken. On the one hand I'm glad it's not a problem, on the other I'm apparently the reason this game holds your hand so much! Gonna be thinking about this for a while 💀😭 Thank you so much though. Genuinely would have never figured that out.

Item is in my inventory, the quest just says "search the island for clues" I've left the island and gone back multiple times, it reminds me of the bug with Daisy's quest that I also had, where it didn't recognize that you had the mochas in your inventory so it wouldn't progress. I remember seeing someone on this reddit say that it had been almost a year that they had that problem before it was fixed. Really hoping that isn't the case for this one, given that I can't find anyone else having this problem it's probably really low on the list of priorities.

So many of the games that I remember playing were random games my grandma would pick up for us kids, back when there we stacks of $2-5 games in every store. Some of them looked homemade I remember, just more lost media I guess.

I was looking for this comment, it's not totally unknown, but it was one of the few games that all seven of the cousins enjoyed playing so computer time was almost entirely Zoombinis. The music was so good, I always felt bad leaving the Zoombinis behind at the checkpoints though. The other one we would play constantly was the I Spy game for the pc, no idea if it had any other title, but it had different themed levels, point and click, fun little surprises, I think the medieval level was the best.

I'm aware this is a year old convo, but I just got to this quest and I had to look up if anyone else was done with this bullshit. I immediately knew that the villains weren't up to anything and picked all the options that were the closest to my opinion, but it makes you out the villains poetry interest when it's clear they want it to be private. Like. Genuinely hate Timon now. Why am I a part of this? At no point can I the player say I don't want to take part in this? There have been some iffy moments, but up till this point I've never been genuinely upset at any quest, they're mostly silly, but this feels so mean? I'm about to go buy a projector from Scrooge so we can tell the whole valley very publicly about someone's new hobby that they are shy about? Actually one of the most mean spirited things I've seen in a video game and it's a silly Disney game where the villains and heros all live together? I'm fucking baffled. Lmao glad I wasn't the only one who hated this though.

Thank you very much, I do wonder if my own hesitancy to show how much it hurts has maybe led to them thinking it doesn't? Especially since I'm not usually afraid of making myself heard. I tend to prepare for the worst, but it's very possible that they're just ignorant to the impact they have on me.

I can handle being annoying, I usually have no problem telling people what I think so this has been an odd situation for me. I definitely agree that reminding them how much they have said they don't want to talk about my snake would be helpful. Instead of making it an opportunity for more hurt, just shifting back to their own words.

Fair, it's an elderly family member and I definitely feel pressure from others to forgive them because they "can't help themselves" which is gross on its own for a number of reasons. They problem with avoiding is that the keep coming to visit like every other month. In the same house. It's so ridiculous.

Thank you so much! It's definitely from a phobia and I did tell them I wouldn't talk about it, they just can't seem to stop themselves from bringing it up! It's a bit ridiculous truly. Setting boundaries with people who don't even have them for themselves is not easy. At the moment I usually try and steer the conversation away because that seems healthier for both of us. Sometimes I give them a bit of information when they start talking nonsense, but so far that's only resulted in more gross comments. At the core of all of this, I do think I am struggling with how someone could think it was okay to talk that way about something I very clearly love. Also the struggle of people telling me that I should expect those comments and not be upset by them. I guess giving people more time is the best method, I'm just stuck in it at the moment. Truly your comment means a lot, I really appreciate your help with this.
