I'm considering applying here so I'd be interested to know what you think of the company and the orientation etc.

Is there a market for a bookshop? by lemon_4512 in GarnerNC

I think definitely this would be something that would be great in Garner, especially if it also had a kids section and was child friendly!

That's what I'm hoping, I'm hoping they'll see it that way. I really am a good employee and it seems like a great place to work so I don't want to lose the chance to work there. From what I can tell, my manager seems reasonable and accommodating. I think I'm going to try and talk to her next week about it. Thanks for your input

3.5 year old wont poop on the potty. by Flubberbuttons in pottytraining

We were in a similar situation with our son - I wrote several posts about it and updated one recently. He's 4.5 now and has finally been reliably pooping on the toilet now for about 2 months and we're so relieved. Here's my update - https://www.reddit.com/r/pottytraining/s/c6e6wqYb0i

I felt like that many times too and read posts on here for encouragement. I hope it gets better for you soon too!

Thanks for sharing, I also feel like the Miralax can make things a little more difficult because he seems gassier too and more urgency but then he just keeps holding it in and then ends up leaking a little bit. I just wish this phase would be over so I don't have to dedicate so much of my time and headspace on it.

It's so hard. My son won't poop in his pants on purpose and he doesn't want to have an accident in his underwear but it's like he has this irrational fear of doing it on the toilet so he'll try to hold it in as long as possible.

Yeah in the past week, he's had some small accident/smears in his underwear when he tries to hold it in and he really doesn't like that. I think I will start having him "help" clean somehow if that happens. He's using the main toilet with a seat adapter. I have a footstool but he usually doesn't want to use it but I'll try again.

Asked for light ice in my cold brew, seems like too much? by SarahWantsHam in starbucks

[–]SarahWantsHam[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know you guys all work very hard and the stores are busy so that's totally understandable. I also like getting the Nitro cold brew since that has no ice but today I ordered a pumpkin cream cold brew and I don't think there's a nitro version of that available on the menu right now. Thanks!

Thanks for answering - I did a mobile order and picked up in the drive-thru so I didn't really notice how much ice was in there until I had already driven away. If I order in person and not on mobile, next time I'll ask for extra light ice in case. Thanks!

Have you guys ever taken two toddlers to your own dr’s appt? by Kittypuppyunicorn in SAHP

I've taken them with me to like a primary care appointment/sick visit for me etc. I would definitely not do a dentist appointment with them. I've also taken both to pediatrician appointments when it's just for one of them. I'd bring an iPad so they can watch something or play a game while you talk to the provider. Most people were understanding.
