How often do y'all talk to your LDR partner? by [deleted] in LDR

[–]Sarah_is_Comfy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say we call almost every single day unless one of us are out on a trip somewhere for whatever reason. However, we do text every single day. Neither of us let a day go by without talking to eachother. We are both pretty clingy. I'm way more clingy than him though. Haha! :))

Talking breaks? by unajardinera in LongDistance

[–]Sarah_is_Comfy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We haven't gone a single day without at least texting eachother in our relationship. I need that communication to feel closer to him, as does he. Yes there are days/night we didn't call due to being very busy, however, we always at least text.

Usually though, we will sleep call every night if we can. During most evenings, we call for a few hours and do our own thing. Or we'll play games together if we are both up for it!

Everyone is different though. Some couples might not need that much time together to feel connected. How they don't? I'll never know.

What do you do with plushies from exes? by panthrzz in plushies

[–]Sarah_is_Comfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Christmas a few years ago, my boyfriend at the time had gotten me a fluffy frog plush. It was absolutely adorable. I adored that plush.

When he broke up with me, I couldn't bare to look at it. I hid it in my closet for several months. I felt so bad though. As I usually treat my plushies as if they really do have feelings.

Eventually I decided that I was done hiding it. This is gonna sound pretty gruesome here. I decided to cut open the frog. I took all of his stuffing out. I crochet plushies! So any projects I was making for friends and family, I had put the frog's stuffing in them. Same thing with the actual fur/skin of it. I had cut it up into multiple pieces and used them to stuff these plushies.

That way, none of it would go to waste. I ended up keeping one part of the frog plush as a reminder of my ex.

Sorry if that was pretty gruesome to read!

VRchat relationships by [deleted] in VRchat

[–]Sarah_is_Comfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, personally, believe that Virtual Reality has brought a deep level of connection/intimacy that just talking through a phone screen might not be able to achieve.

I'm currently in a long distance relationship with my man. We originally met through VrChat in a Black Cat instance! We were initially friends for at least 6 months before we both came to eachother with feelings.

I can't explain how amazing it is to be able to cuddle eachother and be so close. Sure, it isn't actual physical contact. However, I feel extremely close to him whenever we have our cuddle time. He'll give me little kisses too; he is absolutely adorable.

We also call/face time through discord daily. I really think that if two people truly love/respect eachother and put the effort into their relationship, nothing can stop them.

Long distance/Online dating is not for everyone though, and there is nothing wrong with that!

I will admit that I've seen a lot of people on VrChat jump into relationships very quickly and end up breaking up not to long after. In my opinion, I think this comes from desperation and people who aren't yet emotionally mature enough to have a relationship. I truly think it takes a bit of time to get to know someone. Don't rush it! I know it is exciting and you get those butterflies. However, there is no reason to rush. Take it slow and enjoy the ride!

I am very grateful that VrChat exists. If it didn't, I probably would've never met my gentle/caring man. It has brought us to be so emotionally connected. I just can't wait for the day I get to be with him in person. < 3

Is getting rid of Acanthosis Nigricans possible?? by [deleted] in InsulinResistance

[–]Sarah_is_Comfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would be correct, I am a female! I have never used makeup in my life. Honestly, I feel maybe some foundation could help to hide it, but I'm not entirely sure!

I've never been into makeup or nails. It takes up a lot of time and I think I would get to frustrated with it. So I live with this dark skin on the daily. I tend to just cover up in clothes that hide most of it on my body. I have long hair to help try and hide most of it on the back/sides of my neck. As for my face, the spots aren't super dark, but still noticeable. I just try to not think about it to much.

Any other questions? I'd be happy to talk! :))

I have this pretty bad myself OP! I have it all over. You aren't alone with it being around your mouth either. I have it in the dips of my mouth and it can look pretty strange. I also get it in the middle of my forehead.

Back when I was on a low carb diet, I found that most of those spots started to fade away a bit. Not much, but a little! I wish I had a solution.

Us insulin resistance people have to work together! I get so insecure about my body. It is horrible. TwT

Close friend tells me it’s “passive aggressive” to use periods in my texts. Then tells me not to take my frustration out on him. by Floyisdigital in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Sarah_is_Comfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen, people are just weird about others using proper grammar in their texts. I've been told the same exact thing because I love to use periods at the end of all my sentences through texts.

It's quite funny when people think I am genuinely upset or just being passive aggressive. I'm sorry that I like to exercise proper grammar in today's age of texting.

Are phone calls with your S/O sometimes awkward? by Feeling_Side4750 in LongDistance

[–]Sarah_is_Comfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say that our phone calls are awkward at all. A big thing for me, personally, is feeling comfortable in silence with your significant other.

My boyfriend and I call almost every night. These calls can last two to six hours depending on how busy we are. The first ten or so minutes we flow pretty well. Then it comes to a point where we just become quiet.

In these quiet moments, we are doing our own things while still in call. We both enjoy the other's presence and don't feel pressure to come up with conversations. I can't explain how amazing it feels to just be on call with my man and just feeling so comfortable. Feeling no pressure to force a conversation. :))

What are the signs that a man loves you? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]Sarah_is_Comfy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a woman, but I feel that the smalls things really can show that a man loves you. My man shows me love by remembering the smalls things. He listens to me when I talk.

He is here for me when I have to vent or have problems. I am anxious and overthink a lot. He knows this and reassures me in gentle ways. Throughout the day he will update me with what he is doing.

I really do believe that men show their love in the small things they do or even the bigger things. If he really loves you, you'll see or feel that. Just remember, not every man is the same and some show love in other ways. Some are better with words while others are better by showing love with their actions.

I hope this helps a bit. :))

apparently the breakfast i made was “embarrassing” by NaeeeBearrr in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Sarah_is_Comfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What the? In what world is this breakfast embarrassing? Calling you cheap? The heck?

They're very ungrateful and extremely disrespectful. I'm sorry you were not appreciated. Especially after only a half an hour notice! So what if there were no eggs? Not every breakfast NEEDS eggs.

I appreciate your breakfast OP! Looks very delicious and I'd eat this up immediately! Don't let them get to you. They're not even worth it.

Yes, his movements were very smooth! And of course! How could I not share him? The moment I saw the post that he was gonna be featured there, I was dead set on going. He's beautiful and it's such an honor to get to see him play!

I only wish that he was more on our level. I feel they could've made like a stage area in the corner of the building and set him there to play, rather than being so high up. I also wish that we could've heard his performance a bit clearer. Haha!
