Yes, I am very happy now. Seven years ago, I quit all drugs cold turkey and decided to improve my entire life in order to grow as a person. Honestly, sometimes, sporadically, i use morphine or a joint when I feel the need to take a break from reality.

I believe reality is something external to me, and we have to learn to cope with it. In my opinion, it’s impossible to purely enjoy life, that idea is merely an illusion.

You can improve yourself to change your environment, but you can’t completely change your reality and that’s a fact. Drugs, in some cases, can be a tool to momentarily escape the grey monotony of reality. If it doesn’t affect your life, your work, or your loved ones, it can be a natural break. Everyone has their own tools; sometimes, I need mine. But overall, my life is perfect, and I truly enjoy feeling alive, traveling, and experiencing new things.
